“We’ve been a few times over the last few weeks after a work colleague recommended it. For a staff meal & a family meal. Staff are very helpful & efficient. We enjoyed the early bird special it was very good value and lots of variety. The kitchen is open plan and looked very clean tidy & efficient. I love open plan kitchens when eating out. Highly recommend for a large or small table booking you will be well looked after”

“We went to Birmingham for the weekend and thought it only right to have a curry whilst there. I'm very glad we picked this place in particular. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a tranquil and calming ambience and the staff are all very warm and welcoming. The food was some of the best Indian cuisine I've ever tasted. The time taken into knowing a balance of spice never goes unnoticed. Altogether a fantastic experience at a reasonable price, well worth a visit.”

“Had a lovely Christmas Day lunch. Everyone enjoyed their meal, it was very well organised and staff were extremely attentive even though they were clearly busy. We arrived as they opened at 12.30, were served drinks upon arrival. Service was swift but not rushed, we were on a reasonably tight schedule anyway due to having to be away by 2.30.”

“Happy lamb is one of the best Halal Chinese hotpot locations there is in brum! I come here every couple of months and it never disappoints. The atmosphere & staff are very friendly. The food & variety of options is also amazing! It’s also very cost-friendly in comparison to other chinese hotpots in brum. Defo recommend!!!”

“What can I say, the food was absolutely delicious, and we are fussy, for instance I hate sweet and sour sauce that has tomato sauce in it, this one was perfect, no tomato sauce in sight. All cooked fresh and very quick service. The staff were amazing, very attentive and friendly. Definitely be going back....10 out of 10!”

“My favourite breakfast spot in Bham. It has a really nice decor. I always come back for the saffron tea because I just can’t find it anywhere! We had the breakfast meze and it was such a feast! We chose the baba ghanoush, Shakshouka, damascena fuul and falafels. Had a party in my mouth dipping flatbreads in the different dips. The falafels were beautifully crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. And it’s also not heavy on the pocket.”

“A great hotel, supplemented by it's incredible staff, all of whom were so friendly, welcoming helpful, chatty and very competent. The studio room I stayed in was fantastic, incredibly clean, comfortable with every amenity required. A special mention of a the chap that helped with check in on Sunday 16th Nov around 8/9pm. He is a credit to your hotel, a great guy. Thankyou”

“Lovely meal out for a birthday celebration. Excellent food, great service, (attentive but not pushy)....nothing too much trouble. They made a big fuss of our dog too. We've been several times previously and the food and service are consistently excellent. ......which seems to be quite unusual these days! Thank you.”

“Food is delicious and doesn’t make you feel groggy or slow after. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. I wish I remembered the name of my waitress - she was so friendly and helpful. Served with a smile and was really accommodating as my friend had come in post procedure and had to keep her leg elevated. The waitress didn’t hesitate to let us sit in the booth and offered to get a chair if my friend was more comfortable putting her leg on that instead.”

“The food was absolutely amazing. I have to say, too good. I had the pad Thai and pad sew ew. Two different flavours, both were equally delicious. We went on a Sunday and it was kind of busy, we had to wait a bit for the noodles. I would say worth the wait. Imalsham the manager was extremely kind and friendly, he informed us about it while we placed an order. Overall, what a great experience.”

“Ohhh wow! This place was delicious, full of atmosphere, great service and the food, was fantastic. Me and my partner came for my birthday brunch, had a black forest hot chocolate and a gingerbread latte off the specials, aswell as biscoff french toast and berry french toast, on which both I highly recommend. They were made swiftly, came out quick and tasted immaculate! Highly recommend.”

“One of my new favourite places to go. Ordered from slim chickens twice now and cannot fault it. One thing I would say is that the portions of fries are generous. My first time ordering I paid for extra fries & received the same amount as my friend who didn’t. The portion was more than enough though so I wouldn’t spend the extra £3 again personally. Love the toast too, perfect!”

“I came here last week with a few friends and I have to say this place is a hidden gem. 1st time here and I was blown away by the food, service and dining experience. The food was bursting with so much flavour, being from a Bangladeshi background I am very particular about my curries and have high standards and can say they delivered. The waiter knew the menu and recommended some dishes for us. We ordered a king prawn garlic Jhinga, lamb bengal naga (absolutely delicious) and chicken sag special. Make sure yiu have the signature rice that was something different and went really well with the curries. Overall excellent service and food at a very high standard. Will definitely be coming here again.”

“Really nice food. The portion sizes were decent, the meat in the lamb bhuna was really good quality, delivery was fast and they even threw in a free extra thing as well. I recommend it.”

“The entree was AMAZING ☺️ Very friendly atmosphere. The staff accidentally flipped the open sign 20 minutes early because they were cleaning, but let us sit inside reviewing the menu while they finished opening. It's a hidden gem with great food, worth checking out. Only downside was parking, it's really limited out front, the near by supermarket parking is too short a duration, but the menu mentioned restaurant parking at the rear, though we didn't confirm how much was there ourselves.”
