In my experience, I prefer authentic Indian cuisine. On several occasions when visiting restaurants marketed as Indian, I have noticed that they are operated or run by Bangladeshi chefs or owners. While these establishments present themselves as Indian, they are in fact Bangladeshi restaurants, with the use of the term “Indian” seemingly intended to appeal to a wider customer base. I believe it is important for restaurants to be transparent about the type of cuisine they offer, particularly as there are clear differences in flavour, preparation, and cultural practices. For example, many people do not consume beef, and this is an important consideration for customers like myself. I have encountered restaurants described as Indian that serve beef or include it on their menu—something I would have avoided had this been clearly disclosed. On some occasions, I have also found that beef appears to be mixed into dishes sold as lamb, which significantly alters the taste and quality of the food. People can tell when meat is mixed, as the taste and texture of lamb are distinctly different from beef. In modern Britain, transparent and accurate representation of cuisine and food practices is essential, as it allows customers to make informed choices. Personally, I find traditional Indian food better suited to my taste than its Bangladeshi counterpart.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Meal at the Award Winning Titash! We came out for dinner at Titash on Saturday and were blown away. We normally eat at Jilabi, but the level of food here was miles better! You can really tell why Titash is an award-winning restaurant, every dish was packed with flavour and beautifully presented. The whole family loved it, the kids couldn’t stop praising the butter chicken, and my wife really enjoyed her Balti Milan. The service was top-notch: friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout. The restaurant had a great buzz about it too, full but still relaxed and comfortable. An amazing experience from start to finish. Titash definitely deserves its reputation, we’ll 100% be coming back soon!

I had an incredible experience at this place! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. The ambiance was cozy but still felt upscale — perfect for a casual dinner or a special night out. Now, the food… absolutely delicious. We started with the samosas and they were perfectly crisp on the outside with a flavorful filling. For mains, we ordered the butter chicken and lamb rogan josh with garlic naan — both dishes were rich, aromatic, and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the depth of the spices in every bite. The portion sizes were generous too. One of the highlights was definitely the service — our server checked in just the right amount, gave great recommendations, and made us feel genuinely taken care of. If you’re craving authentic Indian food, this spot is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back

This was my 1st visit to Titash and I can definitely say it will not be my last! We went to celebrate my father in law's birthday and it could not have been a better place to go! From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the most welcoming, friendly and happy people! The food was exceptional, so so tasty! Unfortunately I didn't take any photos as we all just tucked in as soon as we were served! The staff were very attentive and made sure we had what we needed at all times! They also bought out a slice of cake at the end with a candle and a sparkler for my father in law's birthday, which was such a lovely gesture! We can definitely see why they have won the West Midlands Curry Champion of the year! 100% recommend!

The food here tastes great! We regularly go to this restaurant and it never fails to please. The staff and owner are brilliant. No matter what other restaurants we try - we always end up back here. We can’t seem to get the same taste anywhere else. No matter what dish you try, it’s has its own unique flavour. Furthermore, they have this fantastic meal deal - its so worth it! I’ve never seen any other restaurant be as generous at this restaurant. I’ve even taken family and friends there - and they’ve all loved the food and pleased with their bill amount. 10/10 for this place.

This Indian restaurant is conveniently located from NEC/Birmingham airport. The food is contemporary Indian. The restaurant decor is very good, with magnificent pictures on glass. Menu is extensive with Balti dishes made in many different ways. We had garlic mushrooms and fish pakora for starters and main course consisting of garlic fish and mahthi chicken. Food was very good, considering the reasonable prices. Service was good as well. We would go here again.

One of Birmingham’s finest curry experiences and my favourite place to have the amazing balti. You won’t be disappointed.
