“I contacted The Bengal Inidan Restaurant with query about a Christmas work buffet. The were very responsive, polite and answered queries regarding dietary requirements. We discussed various options and decided on a starter buffet. On collection day they were very helpful directing us to their car park and loading items into our car. The food came in lovely large sturdy foil containers and we actually received a few more items than ordered. The buffet was a resounding success, very postive comments on the items, the onion bhaji's were delicious and a favourite. With past sandwich buffets there was always sandwiches left but this year everything was cleared up. We would definitely recommend The Bengal and hope to use them again in the future. Thank you”

“Ordered a takeaway from Rilys and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We usually avoid Indian takeaways, as the dishes are often overly modified and lack authentic flavour. However, the food from Rilys defied expectations — it was authentic and very tasty. The portion sizes were generous, and I would definitely give them five stars for that.”

“Possibly the best curry I’ve ever eaten! As a Birmingham resident I have eaten and cooked from scratch a fair number of curries. We were invited to try this restaurant by my parents who live locally. I booked a table as there were 6 of us. I got a lovely confirmation email. It was welcoming and told me that the restaurant wasn’t licensed and inviting me to bring my own alcohol. My family do not need telling twice! We were welcomed like old friends into a lovely clean, modern restaurant, and the toilets were very good, too! We were given glasses suited to the drinks we had bought, flutes, pint glasses and highball. The menus were expansive and clear. We ordered and were served quickly. Everything was freshly cooked and hot(temperature). We were asked when we wanted our mains, so did we want to wait, and were served quickly when we said we were ready. My parents had the shared fish starter which looked and tasted, I’m told fantastic. I didn’t try it but they polished it off quickly! Everyone was super happy with their mains, rice and naans. I’m sorry I didn’t take pictures or take notice of what we all ordered. I will just have to return to do a better job! Seriously, the food was amazing and possibly the best curry I’ve ever eaten. Big claim but don’t take my word for it, please go and try it for yourself. I think you will be pleased.”

“9/10, 4.5/5. Authentic & delicious HK Chinese cuisine. The: beef satay dish (tender), Singapore fried rice, prawn toast was outstanding - I think that was the best prawn toast i ever had as of typing this. The spring roll was good. The HK milk tea (hot) was great & so was the peanut butter filled toast w/ condensed milk. Helpful & friendly staff. Quick service.”

“Visited whilst in Birmingham for the Commonwealth Games. They have a lovely terrace which is a must on a sunny day. We sat just inside so had the best of both worlds. The food was delicious and well cooked. The service was impeccable and staff were fantastic. The chef's choice of cheeses were amazing. It was a lovely treat.”

“As soon as you step through the doors you feel like you’re visiting restaurant owner Negar in her home. Beautiful interior, relaxing music, attention to details and very very tasty food… Looking at the menu feels inappropriate… You just want to ask “What’s for dinner?” :) More than highly recommended… IT’S A MUST!!! Shared starter platter with traditional Persian dishes, Grilled Halloumi with Saffron rice, Rose tea and Saffron/Pistachio ice cream for dessert… And some original artwork…”

“The array of bread and pastries are great, with huge variety of both sweet and savoury options to have in or take away. Following suit, the menu is HUGE, especially for brunch, with lots of creative and unique options that you wouldn’t find elsewhere, mostly spins on brunch classics. We had the brisket benny, which was pretty nice. Pulled brisket and hollandaise sauce, with poached eggs and an English muffin. It was good, but didn’t quite live up to our excitement when we read it on the menu, falling a little flat. That being said, it was tasty and we will sure be back to try some other stuff as it all looked fab. I had a plain Crossiant, which unfortunately was verging on stale. Good flavour, but it was very hard and really wasn’t even close to my dreams of a flakey and light pastry. Oh well. The teas we had were very tasty, and the vibes in the place are pretty cool. There’s many rooms to choose from, so it does feel cosy and atmospheric. The staff were also nice, being pretty attentive and got the job done.”

“What a great pub with lots of atmosphere right next to the cathedral. Great interior decor. I dived in here during a heavy shower and was welcomed by friendly staff. Good selection of beer. I wasn't hungry but looked at the menus and was tempted.”

“A fantastic themed pub and restaurant aimed 1920s. Peaky Blinders memorabilia Authentic throughout and always clean. Weekend the Peaky Blinders go all out in dress and dance. Extremely welcoming and inclusive to all. Staff are amazing, polite and always happy to go the extra mile. My steak is cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. Although not completely in keeping the smart tables are a great addition. I’ve found them really helpful for charging the mobile. I highly recommend a visit”

“We popped in to have some food here. The prepayment system is easy to use, and the staff helped us to have a card and top it up. There are different eateries with Korian, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Chinese food. The concept is perfect, the staff is friendly, the food is tasty, and we had massive portions. I will definitely visit when I visit Birmingham next time.”

“Had dinner here 2x last yr and again this yr and i absolutly love the food. Service is 10/10 food quality and taste 10/10 presentation 10/10. Unfortunatly i was so starved and greedy i forgot to take pics of the food. I will insert photos from last year that i forgot to submit my reveiw. I highly recommend. My favorite place to travel is Thailand and the food is so yum. Xo Will be back and also highly recommend .”

“Excellent evening after visiting a nearby attraction and staying in Tamworth. Well presented business, clean and tidy. Muhammed served us for the duration and was excellent from start to finish including going the extra mile for our young children. Food was excellent and served in a timely manner. The complimentary bread and sauces were a delightful way to begin the meal—fresh, flavorful, and a great introduction to what was to come. The tables were spotless, and the view added a lovely touch to the dining experience. The food was amazing—flavourful, tender, and cooked to perfection. The sides were just as impressive; we enjoyed the chips, rice, and salad. Clean cutlery and crockery were conveniently set up nearby, along with fully stocked sauces, vinegar, salad dressing, and olive oil, all neat and ready to use. Our meals were served with minimal wait, making the experience even better. We’ll definitely be visiting again!”
