“Went with my wife to celebrate my birthday, the venue is recently under new management its clean and reasonably well decorated, it was only two of us the service was excellent along with food . Yakub who served us was very friendly and helpful, fully licensed and very good selection of vegetarian, vegan & nonveg food in starters a d main meal. Will definitely visit this venue again. “It's been so many years since I've been here...and I was so impressed. I've discovered a new favourite dish..the Murghi Special, it was amazing, would recommend..and a reasonable price considering it includes mushroom pilau rice. Offered lime pickle (as well as the usual accompaniments) with the poppadoms, which I love..and the keema naan was also lovely. 5/5 from me....it'll be my new fave place now for home delivery. “I have been a regular since Simla opened, I have never had a bad meal in that time, I am greeted like family when I go in, and it’s a place where you can relax and just enjoy yourself. I don’t usually recommend a single meal but the Chicken Chilli Khybari is well worth a punt!!”

“Had an opportunity to go to this restaurant to eat last night. The food was delicious. Cooked to perfection, the service provided was exemplary, the prices were very economical. My daughter's ordered wraps and burgers and they were amazed at how delicious they were. I ordered a beef platter with a chips as a side. The beef was cooked to perfection with caramalised onions and a pepper sauce. The beef strips were lovely and succulent, not chewy at all, the spices were just right. The waiting time for the food was just right, it was well worth the wait. We needed to say our prayers and the management very easily accommodated us and we're very welcoming. I would highly recommend this lovely place to everyone.”

“Noels Bar – Best Italian Restaurant in Birmingham! Noels is hands down the best Italian fine dining spot in Birmingham. It’s a shame the location isn’t more central because I truly believe more people need to discover this hidden gem. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was elegant, and the service from Wicktoria was outstanding – she made the whole experience for my mom even more special. Highly recommend!”

“Chikaros Restaurant – A Flavour Explosion Like No Other! Chikaros completely blew me and my family away. From the moment we walked in, we was hit with the most mouth-watering aromas. We knew we was in for a treat — but we wasn’t prepared for just how incredible it would be. Every dish was a masterpiece. The flavours? Bold. Rich. Perfectly balanced. You could taste the passion in every bite. I honestly caught myself doing a little happy dance in my seat — it was that good. The wings? Unreal. Juicy, crispy, full of kick. The smash burger? Melt-in-your-mouth magic. I don’t even know how they got the chips that crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Witchcraft, maybe. And don’t get me started on the sauces — they should be bottled and sold worldwide. I’d dip everything in them if I could. Service was top-tier. Friendly, fast, and full of smiles. They made us feel like royalty without being overbearing. The vibe in the restaurant was energetic but chilled — perfect for catching up with mates or treating the family. Honestly, if you haven’t been to Chikaros yet, you’re missing out on one of the best food spots in town. I’m already planning my next visit. 10/10. Would eat again. And again. And again.”

“Visited for dinner today with my fiancée for her birthday, and it was bloody amazing. The food was very tasty - I had the prawns for the starter and rump steak for the main course and it was very delicious, cooked to perfection. There was a big selection of drinks, which were also very tasty, and the service was amazing. Thank you Tia for being so welcoming, kind and friendly, you really made it special for us. “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Visited Mellow’s Bar & Restaurant on Saturday and had a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious – full of flavour, well portioned, and clearly freshly prepared. Drinks were spot on too. What really made the visit special was the service. Big shout-out to our waiter DeeJay – friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made sure we were looked after from start to finish and added such a positive vibe to the evening. Overall, great food, great atmosphere, and excellent customer service. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend Mellow’s to anyone looking for good food and good energy.”

“I was told of this place by a friend and thought I would check it out. The decor is nothing to shout about as it is a local pub and is a bit rough & ready but the food is on another level. Since my first visit, I have been a few times now and have always chosen the Lion Special Family Grill which has never let me down. The thing that amazes me is the speed at which the food comes out. I don’t think I have had to wait more than 10-15 minutes before the food is at our table. The naan breads are made fresh and are lovely and soft. The masala fries and momo’s are also very good. There is plenty of choice on the mixed grill with a choice of seekh kebabs, grilled chicken, fried fish, fried prawns and some lamb chops to top it off. We always have some left over to take home. The price is also very good as it will cost you no more than £40 for a family of four. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Keep up the good work guys!”

“Great hosts great hospitality great food cannot not do more for you.we have 3 generations of family dining at this well run restaraunt no where compares to the quality of food. In regards to the fish, It is well looked after it is decades old. if you speak to the owner who is always there he will happily tell you all about him. as for the tank it is quite deceptive it is bigger than it looks. “Fantastic flavours. Good oprions for different dietary requirement. My wife & I are local and love it here for the broad choice, spotless premises, welcoming staff and truly delicious fresh food. Everything comes hot and not microwaved. They're a polite, honest establishment that makes a truly decent curry. Prices are an absolute bargain also! Good for a cheapie night in or a big family get together- or treat the missus for a dine in.”

“Went today for first time for my moms birthday and can't fault it. Wide choice on menu, including Monkfish amongst its many fish curry dishes. Staff were extremely attentive and up for a laugh and joke. We were made to feel very welcome. The prices must be amongst the cheapest around and there is definitely no scrimp on quality. I am puzzled at some of the negative comments I have read, most of them seem to be on take aways. Firstly I learned years ago, if you order a take away from ANYWHERE on a Friday or Saturday be prepared for a long wait and don't expect too much on quality, as the delivery drivers quite often take various at the same time trying to keep up with demand. My advise during busy periods, if you want a Take Away and expect quality, Go and get it. I for one will definitely be back to Kaben again soon.”
