Wonderful attention to detail, prompt service and of course fresh and flavoursome food. Our meals arrived piping hot, served beautifully with generous portions. The restaurant itself is nice and clean, lovely and calm setting for a relaxing dining experience. We were blown away by the owner’s kindness and generosity of adding extra sides to keep our tired toddler happy. Thank you again to the staff at Zheng. We will be back again.

I recently booked a table at Zengh, Fine Indian Restaurant for a group of 8 friends on a busy Saturday night, and it was a spectacular experience from start to finish. Right from the initial booking, the service felt incredibly personal and attentive. Despite the restaurant's size, they have utilized the space exceptionally well, creating a comfortable and efficient dining atmosphere. A major bonus that made the evening so relaxed and fun was their bring-your-own-drinks policy, with the restaurant thoughtfully providing all the necessary glassware—a huge hit with our group! We started with several rounds of poppadoms, served with an excellent array of sauces. The tamarin sauce was a standout, truly amazing and highly recommended! For appetizers, we shared two of both the vegetable and special platters, which were perfect for group sharing and beautifully presented on their elegant serving plates. The highlight was the main course. We decided to order eight different main dishes from the signature selection, along with various rices and naan breads, allowing everyone to sample a bit of everything. Every single dish was absolutely delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by the table. Zengh truly shines with its unique and distinct offerings; they have dishes on the menu that you simply won't find at other Indian restaurants, making it a fresh and exciting culinary journey. The service remained impeccable and personalized throughout the evening. We felt genuinely well looked after, and their generosity extended right until the very end, as they kindly accommodated us even after the restaurant's closing time. Zengh offers unique, delicious food, wonderful hospitality, and a cleverly designed space. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

I'm not a self-confessed foodie, but I do know quality food when I taste it. I tested the waiter by asking for him to serve me his best recommendations from their menu. Out came an impeccably presented starter of King Prawns and mains of Keema, daal and a unique twist on a chicken dish. I have to admit, it was sublime and not the usual commercial curry you get served elsewhere. Zengh was by far the best fine dining Indian restaurant I have tried in Birmingham. Can't fault it, highly recommend the food, the ambience and the menu!

First time here in Zengh and I have to say I am throughly impressed. I ordered their lamb biryani and it was very good, the lamb meat was soft and well marinated and cooked, and I really enjoyed curry that came with it. We also had pappadums each for starters and I loved the freshly cut onions that came with it, and I have to say they have one of the best mint chutney I have ever tried!! The only downfall is that it’s a very small restaurant so I think it’s best to make bookings if you want to try Zengh. And the staffs working there are out of that world, they are literally all so welcoming and friendly!

I came here last week with a few friends and I have to say this place is a hidden gem. 1st time here and I was blown away by the food, service and dining experience. The food was bursting with so much flavour, being from a Bangladeshi background I am very particular about my curries and have high standards and can say they delivered. The waiter knew the menu and recommended some dishes for us. We ordered a king prawn garlic Jhinga, lamb bengal naga (absolutely delicious) and chicken sag special. Make sure yiu have the signature rice that was something different and went really well with the curries. Overall excellent service and food at a very high standard. Will definitely be coming here again.

I would see Zengh driving past all the time and I was quite curious to experience how the restaurant was. Having seen the 5 star reviews I decided to take my partner for his birthday. The atmosphere of the restaurant is certainly Zengh. The service was one of the best I’ve ever received. Having waited slightly over the normal wait time, it was certainly worth it! The food was delicious; this is coming from a person who’s very picky! I couldn’t fault anything. I have quite a sweet tooth after a meal. Sadly they don’t have a dessert menu, however they continued to kindly accommodated by giving me and my partner a complimentary ice cream which just topped off the night. Will definitely be visiting again! Thank you

First time visit to this restaurant. A very warm welcome from a friendly waiter. The food was excellent. We went on a Tuesday evening when they have a special deal on (£13.95 for any starter, any main and rice or naan). Unfortunately when we got the bill they charged us the full a la carte menu price. There were 4 of us eating so the bill should have been about £56 but when it arrived it showed £90. When I questioned it and said we should have been on the Tuesday deal, the waiter apologised and said "sorry we forgot about the deal". I don't believe he forgot. I think he was trying it on. We paid the lower figure but it left a sour taste which was a real shame because the food was fantastic.

What can I say. I've been here 3 times for 3 seperate occassions over the last month. A great example of fine dining but at a very reasonable price. Every time I have visited nothing but amazing care and service. Food is really good and they can easily dial in to the level of spice to suit you. Genuinely recommend. I don't like leaving one star reviews, but will of I have to. Ordered a vegetable curry and chips to be collected for £9.75. Rather expensive I thought, but after reading the reviews thought I'd give it a try. Chips were fine, no problems there. The curry though was like a watery soup. Plenty of onions and carrots and a couple of pieces of sweet potatoes, but not much else. There's an abundance of Indian restaurants and takeaways in the locality that pride themselves on good food. Everest Dine include aubergine and cauliflower in their vegetable curry. In all honesty, very poor value for money due to the expensive price, lack of vegetables and thin watery sauce.
