   We ordered some food from here a couple of months back and the boss lady took our order and was incredibly knowledgeable about what was gluten free and vegan. We had no reactions to allergies which was honestly such a godsend and the food was delicious. So grateful to the lady who took our order, she runs a tight ship and treated us with a lot of kindness and grace. Highly recommend this place- if you have allergies definitely worth speaking to her when placing an order

   WOW, we had a meal here tonight, it was absolutely delicious. The staff were so friendly & nothing was too much trouble for them. It's a family run restaurant & you can tell its really important to them that you enjoy your meal. We had Mongolian lamb to start & then chicken curry with egg fried rice & yung chow fried rice, all of the food was super tasty & the portions were extremely generous. And the cost was very reasonable. We will definitely be visiting again.

   Great choice of food and a really helpful member of staff who suggested we were ordering too much and could order more later if we still wanted to. She was right! This restaurant sits in the space vacated by the Jade and is much more modernised. They clearly do a roaring trade in takeaways (something I took advantage of a week after our physical visit). Sadly, my friends and I were the only eat-in customers on a Friday evening. Great value for the food and the house wine was way above average taste for a very reasonable price.

   Went tonight for a Saturday night dinner out and was greeted with a warm welcome as usual. Service here is always amazing Wendy is incredible and always makes us feel at home she remembers us every time we come and now even knows us by name. She's such a sweet woman and goes above and beyond to make sure we have a good time. She always makes sure we have exactly what we want and need when visiting and goes the extra mile. Such as today, I've not been very well with a cold and she brought me out some hot lemon water to help with my throat which was so kind of her. I would definitely recommend a trip here the food is lovely and the service !

   Great for gluten free!! We ordered from restaurant 88 when they were Johnny wongs and we will continue to under their new name/location. My mum is coealic and I feel very confident ordering from restaurant 88 for her. The lady on the phone is happy to discuss what she can eat and how they can adjust dishes. She's called me back multiple times in the past to make sure they're getting our order right. Brilliant service! And my mum adores their ribs! Highly recommend

   RIP restaurant 88, menu has recently changed and I am left very dissapointed. Was a local and have been going here for almost 5 years from back when it was the jade, the food was fantastic. Best Chinese in Birmingham by far and such lovely owners. Now partially changed hands and I sadly won’t be eating here anymore as my faves aren’t part of the new menu. Please change back!!

   The world of Chinese cuisine is alive. Restaurant 88 has a superb à la carte menu. The venue is brand new and the owner is the famous Johnny Wong who is attentive, well known, and highly experienced. The food my family experienced was beautifully presented and very delicious. The prices are very affordable. I am thrilled that this quality of Cantonese restaurant has arrived on my doorstep. I will look no further than Moseley for the best Chinese restaurant in the city.
