We went for lunch and the tasting menu was beautifully presented and delicious - especially the Mackerel starter. It was quieter than I expected for a Saturday lunch time but probably the time of year. I hope this gem gets the custom it deserves!. We will definitely visit again.
Fantastic birthday meal recently. The staff were extremely attentive and polite. And their tasting menu is worth a try. Would definately advise people to have a meal there.
Lovely lunch with very gentle, friendly and relaxed but efficient service. Full of flavour, fabulous quality ingredients, and extremely pretty presentation.
I had great expectations for this place but was massively disappointed. The food was the most beautiful artwork I’ve seen other than skinner in Marbella. The service was amazing. It was that good that they added a service charge of nearly £40. If you claim to be a great restaurant and have great service then let the customer determine the tip. I knew it wasn’t going to be a cheap night out but I was so disappointed. The atmosphere was sterile and so forced. The time between courses was infinite and to be honest we were bored. Never again

My first visit here definitely won't be my last! Amazing food and excellent service. Set Lunch was really good value for money, considering the quality of what was being served. I enjoyed the matching wine flight, which had interesting and cleverly chosen wines.
We booked for 4pm, we were greeted as soon as we walked through the door, all smiles and politeness. Shown to our table and our server Sophie came over. Sophie was very polite and friendly, made us feel very welcome. I chose the seabass dish and had the sauce on the side to try it - it was gorgeous! My kids enjoyed their dishes too, which was a crispy chicken dish x2 and a small beef roast (it was a good portion size for a child). The food was presented beautifully, the taste was incredible. I was full after my dish but definitely could squeeze in pudding! They looked amazing and tasted how they looked - amazing! 10/10 throughout - We weren't rushed off, the place was clean and looked presentable, engaged with throughout and professionally. Definitely will return on special occasions, but well worth the money. You get what you paid for :)
Sooooo good. The scotch egg starter was stunning and the Sunday lunch roast beef was such a tasty cut. You can tell how much effort goes into creating the food. Really enjoyed it.
Nice meal with friends . Different tasting food , but "different" good . I can see why people would think "portions" are small ( this is a restaurant , not a canteen though.. ) : my starter was delicious ... but looked lost in the plate. Could have done with added accompaniment..Even some salad with some fancy balsamic vinegar . Main was good ... but we are in GB ... chips portion , albeit well constructed on the plates needs to be bigger... My dessert ( guineas cake) tasted good , but was dry... but maybe that was how it was meant to be. This might sound like a negative review , but at the end on the day, the starter and main dish tasted good .... putting .. good , but too dry for me .
