   A really great night here, Meditterainian cuisine. We booked early , 7.15, the place was quiet but by the time we left it was full. The service was to my mind overly attentive and the main meal came out before we finished so a 4. The food however was a delight and earns a " will go back" my highest recomendation

   We had such a wonderful experience at Olive Tree Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome the staff were friendly, the atmosphere was warm, and the interior beautifully decorated. The food was excellent: fresh, full of flavor, and presented with great care. Every dish was perfectly prepared and the portions were just right. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and everything moved at a relaxed pace, allowing us to truly enjoy our evening. Overall, a delightful dining experience that I would highly recommend.

   Best Turkish food I had in 10 years of living in the UK as a Turkish person. I highly suggest mixed grill and baklava! Amazing service and friendly staff, nothing was too much. They even offered us Turkish Coffee. Thank you!

   I was staying in Buxton and just fancied eating something a bit different, and not Chinese or Indian. I found the Olive Tree, which had great reviews and served Mediterranean food. Being a solo traveler, quite often when I try and make a reservation, they don't want to know or stick you in a corner out of the way. I was welcomed when I arrived and offered a choice of three tables. The menu was amazing and I couldn't decide, because of all the choices. I have three courses, all my food was excellent and served in a nice relaxing way. There was no rush, just as I like it. Wine and a Brandy to finish off the evening. I cannot remember having enjoyed a meal so much. The interior of the restaurant was very relaxed and comfortable. An excellent meal and enjoyable evening.

   I had the pleasure of dining at the Olive Tree Restaurant and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was nothing short of amazing. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. What made the evening even more special was the lovely surprise at the end – a complimentary dessert on the house! It was the perfect sweet touch to round off a perfect meal. I can’t recommend Olive Tree enough – whether it’s a casual meal or a special occasion, you won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely be back!

   Genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had in Buxton. Service was super friendly and professional and the small plates were incredible. All well seasoned and clearly well thought out. We were a large group and it still all came out in good time. Will absolutely be returning!

   We dined Friday night just the 2 of us had a lovely meal. The btl of Merlot was excellent for the price. The starters were tasty and mixed vegetarian platter was lovely. I had the mixed grill which I couldn't recommend enough. The ambience was just right. We did wait for the food but were told this on arrival and I find I prefer this rather than feeling rushed but know its not for everyone. The service was great overall a definite 5 from us.

   Excellent, friendly service. Food beautifully presented. The Medi Skewer was delicious - hearty and tasty. The house Merlot went down a treat. Despite us dining early and so the restaurant was quiet, there was still a pleasant, warm ambience. We would recommend!
