I'm afraid to report that the poor quality and taste of the tap water in Stafford really impacted my flat white as it had a strong and unpleasant metallic and heavy taste and after-taste coming from it, tingling while sipping it. The pain au Chocolat arrived cold therefore soggy, forget the flakiness. They serve a small selection of plates and the avocado on toast has to be "built" upon orderin. £16.6 for four items.

Visiting from Wilmington, North Carolina. We loved the potato leek soup and bacon rolls. Very friendly hostess, she was helpful and lovely.

I was here yesterday for lunch with my girlfriend and we had a wonderful time. Of course, the cafe is in a great location, and we enjoyed sitting outside (despite the cold!) taking in the view and watching all the birds who came and went from the decking area. What we loved here was the attention to detail in the food: We ordered a jacket potato with cheese and a leek and potato soup - the cheese was already melted into the potato, and the bread that came with the soup was toasted! Little things like this turned it from a good meal into a great one! Whenever we're back in Stafford, this will definitely be somewhere we try to visit again.

Best latte Iv had for a long time. Beautiful spot for a hot drink or a bite to eat. Was well looked after by Harrison and Jade with service that was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend.

We had afternoon tea , it was lovley , what would have made it better was if they would have talked through what was on the stand ! & If they had poured the prossecco at the table , but what we paid for the experience was amazing ! Jade was lovely, professional & friendly ❤️ would definitely recommend.

First time in, had heard nothing but good about the place, and wasn't disappointed. Can't wait for summer down there. A great little cafe in town with amazing views. Little Xmas treat.

A lovely Café set in beautiful grounds (Victoria Park, Stafford) with a great choice of food and drinks. Staff were really friendly and it's a great place to relax and enjoy lovely views whether inside or outside on the covered decking area.

Was hoping for a breakfast but all they had was bacon barms, of which I bought the last 2 barms. Asked for the bacon very well done. It was hot... but almost still oinking. Beautiful setting and lovely coffee. Parking is £1 all day on a Sunday. The play area looked amazing for kids.

We were really impressed with Albert's café.When you think of cafes you think of a greasy spoon but NO this was a modern building with great outdoor space overlooking the River Sow.The staff were informative,it was a quick service and they bring it out to your table. The pumpkin coffee's with cream were tasty and perfect for an October day.Well worth a visit and you get to see the lovely gardens, river and bird averies.
