“Tracy was a true star, really helpful and kind So much appreciated as I’d missed my train by seconds”
“Lovely cafe serving awesome veggie options and range of excellent cakes. Hot drinks are great too!”
“Mustard Cafe in Macclesfield offers friendly service and fresh, tasty breakfasts in a very clean setting. The coffee is delicious and the prices are reasonable, making it a standout spot for a relaxing meal often rated better than chain cafes in town”
“Have been here three times now and the food has always been delicious. The chicken club is especially good. The space upstairs is airy and bright, with large floor to ceiling windows and the downstairs is cosy and low-lit. We’ve had the breakfasts, the pastrami sandwich and the club - all delicious. Staff are lovely too.”
“I mean what’s not to like?!?! Ordered the Spam and Egg Vienna and it was amazing, will definitely be back again.”
“Well I have been popping in and out of this cafe for longer than I can remember it was flocks then but I can say the food and the staff are still the best to day I am on my way down from Scotland. Well worth the diversion”
“Reasonable priced decaff coffee and vegan cake. There's milk alternative available, oat, coconut and soya for anyone who's vegan or lactose intolerant. The staff are friendly and welcoming all in all a nice place to visit and cheaper than some highstreet coffee shops.”
“I absolutely love the Cornish pasty at this place, I live in Manchester, but whenever it is possible, my husband and I go to Macclesfield just to have a few.:) We have tried to find a place in Manchester that could beat this one, but no such lucky so far. In my opinion all sweets and pasties that I have tried are excellent. We haven't seat in to eat there though, we prefer to take it home. Enjoy!”
“Went back again today and I think it's fair to say we are developing a habit! The atmosphere inside is so nice, and the guys are so friendly, it makes it such a lovely place to visit - and the coffee is so delicious that's worth going for alone. There's a great cake selection. The brownies/tiffin/cookies/cakes are just right, they are rich and taste amazing without being too much and there are loads of gluten free and vegan choices so it's a great place to go with anyone.”
“Excellent hub for all things around autism. The whole place is purpose designed to be a safe space for people with autism to feel comfortable and get help with what they need. Exceptionally professional and knowledgeable staff. Very supportive if you're new and have questions (drop in or appointments available). Help with all aspects of the journey with clubs, learning and fun. Well integrated with other services in Cheshire East. Wonderful cafe for lunch and snacks. Helpful with special diets. A great community doing what it says on the label.”
“A lovely little place with a good breakfast. I had the full English, it was well priced. The bacon was well done just like I asked for. Food was tasty and set us up for the day. We went on a Sunday morning. It opens at 8am which I think is amazing. Nice plants in the windows, nicely presented place. The staff are great, even the chefs in the back give us a smile. Would definitely recommend.”
“Really great plant-based food. Edit: Unfortunately, the owner has decided to start serving non-vegan items. This means we won't be visiting again as we can go to places like that much closer to home. I will leave my rating as is, because the food was good, and so was the service, but I would never go back due to his reaction to responses on social media - and then his ridiculous commentary in the tabloid press.”
“i absolutely love this place it is my all time favourite. the food is delicious, the waiters and waitresses are lovely and polite and the building itself is gorgeous. i went there for my birthday and they were so sweet gave me desert on the house and sang happy birthday. it’s in a lovely little village and everywhere is so tranquil- especially later at night. i consistently go back to alberto’s because how lovely a place it is. this is my favourite restaurant i’ve ever been to and highly recommend as the food is delicious and affordable”
“Fantastic service and food every time. Turkey Baps were amazing Thanks to Dave, Naomi, Ed and Gill. From all at HCVelo. Great start to festive season”
“Had Menemen for breakfast and it was perfect, perfect amount of spice. Would definitely recommend. Lovely service and price was good.”
“Even though it was a limited menu due to covid, the food was delicious and the service was great. Nice cosy fire to sit by too, which was lovely.”
“When I win the euro millions this is where I'll buy all my furniture, carpets and home decor. Luxury furniture and homeware. Prices are well above the usual high street brands but the quality and craftsmanship is felt in every piece they sell. The shop itself is an old silk mill. A four storey building filled with sofas, dining tables, beds, carpets, rugs, home decor, candles, painting etc. You could definitely spend a couple of hours browsing. Cafe was great. Excellent service. Full cooked breakfast was thoroughly enjoyed by hubby. And my ploughman's sandwich was tasty and very filling. We also had large chunky chips that were fab. Breakfast until 11.30am. Brunch all day and mains from 11.30am. Free parking available. Staff were pleasant and polite. Great place to get some decor inspiration or to just pop in for something to eat.”
“Lovely little tearoom near the National Trust Wizard Trail! Prices are fair and they offer a really good product range.”
“Not been in here for ages. Popped in for brunch- bacon sandwich ( on lovely seeded roll) and breakfast wrap (bacon, sausage, fried egg and cheese), americano and cappuccino. All really good, good value. Staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely go in again soon.”
“Great place. Good food/coffee. Great service. Would definitely call again.”
“Cafe is very dog friendly. You can take 2 dogs per person inside and staff make them very welcome. Yes you order at the till but everything is then brought to your table. The hot drinks loyalty card is a bonus, collect 6 stamps and the next hot drink is free.”
“Great cup of Colombian coffee. Service is a little slow, but it's a nice environment. Outside seating area is an added bonus.”
“Atmosphere very good. Friendly staff. Could do better with choice of food though”
“Love Ajs. Whether it’s a cuppa and a piece of delicious cake with the girls (the rocky road and chocolate brownies are a particular favourite) or lunch with my daughter it’s so lovely to get a smile and a bit of chat from the team. The cheese scones are delicious, my daughter loves the cheesy oatcakes and you can’t go wrong with one of their specials.....especially a meat and potato pie. My hubby loves a good breakfast on the weekend too. It’s a family affair for us just like it is for the team there. They treat you like family.”
“Go to Sainsburys cafe regularly- at least twice a week! Good to go and grab a sandwich, pizza, breakfast, coffee etc. Quiet enough to work in there too. The ladies who work there are lovely- always smiley and helpful and patient!!!”
