The Old Barn offers a simple menu of freshly cooked food. The coffee is the best we can buy locally. In a time of ever-increasing costs, it is good value for money. The service is always friendly and attentive. We often cycle there because there's a lovely network of lanes nearby. There's outdoor seating. It's worth reserving a table at lunchtime as it can be very busy.
Absolutely deserved 5*. Catered for our son’s wedding day including venue prep, food and drink including all the gf, vegan and the peas mustn’t touch the chips people. Back for terrific breakfast today. Spot on. And to the guy who left a one star….when you see review after review praising the people, food and place consistently scoring very high marks, have you considered that the problem might be you?,! Just a thought.
As my daughters and I travel around this part of Cheshire looking for the venues which serve up the best Full English Breakfasts, we have found another place to add to our list. We both had the Old Barn Breakfast and it was delicious from the first bite to the last. I washed down my food with a pot of tea drunk from a large tea cup. Excellent. Service was prompt and polite. Plenty of parking space outside. A small step needs to be climbed to get into the building. I shall definitely be returning to The Old Barn, Marton sometime soon. Well done everyone. I made a second visit with my other daughter. I had the breakfast again. Still delicious. My daughter opted for the Steak sandwich with a peppercorn sauce and a portion chips. Again the food was first class. As an aside, the place was full when we arrived. However they very kindly split up a setting for four so we could sit down. Excellent customer service. Well done everybody. So today’s visit was judgement day for me and my two daughters who continue to search for the best Full English Breakfast in the area. We all opted for variations on the Old Barn Breakfast with additional hash browns. It will come as no surprise when I tell you that the breakfasts were excellent. This is testament to The Old Barn maintaining their high standards of food and service. The Old Barn has achieved the highest score of any venue we have visited so far. Well done everyone. Magnificent. At the end of our exhaustive tour around our local area to find the best Full English Breakfast, I am delighted to tell you that The Old Barn, Marton is our winner. Well done everyone. Went today and had eggs Florentine and my wife had veggie sausages on a bap it was beautiful, one of the best egg Florentines I've had. The staff are super friendly. I will be going again in the future

Excellent coffee, good choice of food and service very good. Shame not open Mon or Tues. Also do take away coffees so ideal if passing.
Stopped here for coffee and cake whilst passing through on deliveries for the gallery. Easy to find on the main road with easy parking at the front. Two decaf lattes along with a piece of carrot cake and a slice of hummingbird cake £9.80 so excellent value and both cakes were delicious! (I would rather have the napkin separate from the cake though - so I can use it as a napkin if needed) Highly recommended, thank you :)
