A Tribute Review to Miss Coffee. Walking over to the chic tables and chairs whilst my drink was being made, I noticed delightfully quirky cartoon portraits of historical figures ( from Mona Lisa to Albert Einstein) were framed on the wall. When bringing my coffee over, the staff member said they hoped that I’d like it. From the first sip, I found the coffee to be absolutely wonderful, with it striking just the right balance between roasty and creamy. Around my fourth day of going there, a staff member asked about what book I was reading. Whilst I have been lucky to visit great bars and coffee houses over the years, this was the first time I had been asked a question by a staff member anywhere. This question led to a wonderful conversation with the staff member about what we were both currently reading. Playing it safe/ sticking to what I know by going for the hot drinks, a staff member suggested that I might like to try some of the other options. Looking down the list, I was amazed at the wide variety, ( all made at the best quality) from Boba, ( which I discovered for the first time, at Miss Coffee) Hong Kong Iced Coffee and an incredibly silky hot chocolate, made with real chocolate. On days when I would be having to do a lot of traveling, I would skip having breakfast at home, and instead have something to eat at Miss Coffee. From filled baguettes, rich sponge cakes with fresh cream ,Dorayaki and Korean Army Stew, to extra spicy noodles, ( finding out about X3 noodles, led to my lips burning off) and Taiwanese sweets, Miss Coffee served up an excellent variety of food. Thinking I knew what a Full English was, Miss Coffee’s Vegetarian Full English proved that not to be the case, with staples such as mushrooms and beans, being joined by tofu and spinach creating a wonderfully filling way to start the day. Unsurprisingly becoming popular with the children and the parents from all the surrounding schools, one thing I noticed again and again, is that even in rush hour/ having to juggle dozens of orders, all the staff would take a moment to give regular visitors a hug and ask them how their day was going, making Miss Coffee be unlike any other place I have been to. Having lived in Trent Vale since I was ten, I always thought that a place that did different foods and drinks would fit in this area so well. As I would say to my friend when she was driving to Miss Coffee, “ I feel so lucky to live near here.”

We popped in last week in search of egg coffee (ca phe trung) unfortunately this is possibly the only coffee they don't serve. However this place is stunning, service is amazing, food is hot and cooked perfectly, the coffee range they have is diverse and most importantly the milkshakes are toddler approved! Must say this is the best place for coffee in stoke on trent

Fab little coffee shop, that is very welcoming with a cosy atmosphere. Me and my partner come here regularly and my children also love to come here with us as well, we are a huge fan of the noodles and coffee. Lots to offer, including different flavour Oreos we like to try each week. Staff are really lovely and friendly, prices are great and would highly recommend. One of our fave places to come to and feel lucky to have such a fab place close by to us.

A big hit with the whole family. The server was really patient with us bubble tea newbies and had recommendations. Service in general was great, ample choice of food - but know that the drinks are the main event! We tried bubble tea hot and cold, a milkshake, and a barista-made coffee. All were to an excellent standard. I just hope Stoke-on-Trent is willing to try something new.

This place just opened a few weeks ago and I thought I'd come and try. The 3 ladies in there were so friendly and welcoming to myself and my children! I can't believe this place is tucked away in Trent Vale, I'll definitely be coming back often! There's WiFi there too to work in and the decor/atmosphere is amazing. So much bubble tea to choose from I couldn't believe it.
