“A very comfortable and pleasant experience. You can book your seats before going if you would like to. When you get there go up the slope to the foyer where you can purchase your tickets, food, confectionery, soft drinks, booze and movie posters. Continue to the cinema where your film is being shown, find your seat. The seats are comfortable and you can move the sitting position to suit yourself. Enjoy.”
“Love this cinema anyway but the Polar Express was magical! We will be taking our grandchildren along every year!”
“We went to see 'to kill a mocking bird', which was excellent. From the point of booking I was kept really well informed about timings, how to get there, parking, access etc. It was very helpful being our first time to the venue. We sat in the circle, which is fairly steep, but has excellent visibility, even if you have a tall person sat in front of you. Very good! The bars were open in good time and drinks easy to buy or book for the interval and a water urn was available too, which is great. A really great venue and play. Certainly recommended and we'll be going back again.”
“Unlike some cinemas that over charge for larger more comfortable seats. Every screen at showcase has the same eectronic recliners. Ticket price is decent and with the addition of the Insider card your constantly earing money off. Food selection is good and pick'n'mix is a personal favourite. In all its a brilliant cinema.”
“Like many people on these reviews ive been coming to the savoy since I was a kid. Spent many birthdays here and always love coming back when I come to Nottingham. Screen 1 is a piece of cinema history - nearly 100 years old. The other screens are modern and match any multiplex. Reasonably priced and very special - beloved by people in Nottingham for a reason.”
“A great cinema which has a good mix of new films and old favourites showing. They have comfortable chairs and nice, clean rooms. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the food and drink is decently priced. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options for pick and mix too!”
“This is a great cinema. 5 screens, great projection, great sound, comfy seats, good value and right next to a multi storey carpark.”
“Cool little venue, great staff, clean toilets and a bar with cold beers... what more vould you ask for!”
“What an awesome place, it doesn't look much from the outside, but it has lots of character and charm from the inside, the seats could definitely do with a refurb, the price of the tickets was HALF THE PRICE of the regular cinemas, I will be using this place from now on, considering that the big boys are at least £15 per ticket, even the popcorn is reasonably priced.”
“My 2 boys (age 8 and11) have just been to footlights nottingham summer theatre school. They really enjoyed it, had a great time, were well looked after and learned a lot. Thank you Sofia and team!”
“This cinema is a hidden gem of a place. Lovely staff and great location in the heart of Nottingham with a well chosen selection of unique films that challenge our thoughts on important issues such as the Environment”
“Excellent comedy cabaret night, led by a professional and hilarious trio”

“We had the most amazing hour of entertainment at the production of Wonderland. A fantastic immersive theatre experience for my family, even my 11year old was in fits of giggles! It was beautifully decorated, visually interesting and a well written production. We highly recommend Copper studious entertainment as it’s first class! Can not wait to hear what they will do next to get our front row seats! Thank you!”
“The Attic Theatre School in Nottingham has been a game-changer for my children. Enrolling them in various classes here has not only ignited their passion for the performing arts but has also been instrumental in boosting their confidence and self-esteem. The supportive and nurturing environment created by the dedicated school has allowed my kids to explore their talents freely. The range of classes offered, from acting to stagecraft, ensures a comprehensive theatrical education. What truly sets this school apart is the personalized attention given to each student. Amanda and all other teachers in Attic not only focus on skill development but also prioritize emotional growth, creating an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere. Attic Theatre School isn't just about honing acting abilities; it's a place where kids grow, learn, and form lasting friendships. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a place where their children can thrive, both on and off the stage.”
“Great experience. Venue top notch!”
“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I can not recommend this guy enough. He has gone above and beyond to make my daughters double digit birthday extra special. Everyone who attended all said how amazing it was. Every child left absolutely beaming.”
“My son has been with Flying High for 5 years now. He loves it and has made some great friends there! The yearly drama showcase at The Bonnington theatre is an amazing experience for all the groups to perform on a stage.”
“When I first started lessons with Amanda I had very little acting experience. It’s something I always had wanted to try and was extremely nervous. However Amanda’s teaching style put my nerves at ease so I could enjoy the lesson as much as possible. I’ve been coming for about a year and a half and I look forward to each workshop. It’s a safe place where your allowed to experiment and try new things without being judged by anyone. I feel like I have grown so much over the past year and half thanks to Amanda as she knows how’s to push people and help them improve. I definitely recommend The Acting Studio to anyone of any ability who has any interest in acting.”
