“What a fun evening - we all enjoyed it enormously (we ranged in age from 13 to 70). Definitely booking for next year.”
“Been here for the xmas panto and another show. Really enjoyed it both times. Great place to visit. Good pricing. Food and beverages available.”
“First time at Duchess Theatre and I'm impressed. Hot drinks were available and a bar. Air conditioning was very much appreciated. Will definitely go again.”
“I loved my visit to see Kinky Boots at the Theatre.. my 1st visit in over 20 years. I was so chuffed to get a wheelchair seat and one where my sister (carer) could be with me too. She helped me and made sure I was okay everywhere. The view from accessible seating is a touch restricted as it's under the dress circle at the back of the stalls (any action high up is hard to see but as most happens at stage level.. all was good and I loved the show. It's got to be good views as its at the side of the lighting desk and they need to see too! See my video for your view.”
“The theatre is very well organised and the service is very friendly. They have very interesting shows and not only cinema, if not ballet perfomances, music and theatre. They are always bringing new shows, and interesting performances from the most popular til independent productions.”
“Just had a beautiful Sunday roast here, all home cooked.. Nice atmosphere too.. A real traditional pub as they used to be, highly recommend it.”
“I have just attended Day 1 of the Analogue Spotlight Event at Nonsuch Studios. I enjoyed all the stalls and workshops laid on. My only gripe is that the toilets became unusable during the afternoon meaning that 50-60 people had to share one loo! I'm going to Day 2 tomorrow, I hope the loos are mended!!!! “We have used Andy at Trusted Technology several times over the past 36 months for TV installation following advice from Richer Sounds. On all occasions they have given excellent service regardless of who carries out the work. Always a pleasure to deal with”
“Came in for a coffee and a bite to eat after a long walk along the canal, then went browsing throughout the whole shop. It's a place you could spend all day just looking at all the items for sale in there. It's a big treasure trove.”
“Great provincial theatre puts on some super performances. Has a very nice "feel" about the place - very well worth supporting”
“My son has been with Flying High for 5 years now. He loves it and has made some great friends there! The yearly drama showcase at The Bonnington theatre is an amazing experience for all the groups to perform on a stage.”
“Great experience. Venue top notch!”
“The CAT cinema is a fabulous asset to the community.Good variety of films. The quiz is great fun.Michael, who runs it, is charming and creates a friendly welcoming atmosphere.”
“What a tour de force 'Impotance' was! This University theatre goes from Strength to Strength! They do need to update their website about parking at weekends though....”
“Their production of Kinky boots was amazing- 10/10”
“Went to see a film, afterwards a friend said ' you must try the meat tacos'. We did, she was right, they were outstanding! Cafe was packed but service was quick. Can't wait till the next time.”
“This theatre is part of the Djanogly City Academy. We visited as part of a week long dance competition festival our daughter was competing in during the school holidays (it is not organised by Djanogly City Academy). The theatre has a tiered auditorium seating 300 people including a few wheelchair spaces on the back row accessed via a lift. The stage area is a good size and on ground floor level. There are toilets in the ground floor foyer (ladies, gents, disabled). I didn't go backstage so won't comment on that. The dancers had access to rooms on the other side of the courtyard which were used as changing rooms and a food serving area. There is a small car park on site. This is a good theatre facility which we've visited and enjoyed several times. We'll be back.”
“Lovely experience in a nice clean cinema. Air conditioning a little too cool. Seats really comfortable with plenty of leg room. Staff friendly & helpful.”
“Great little theatre giving professional performances.”
“First time visiting for an Imax film. Staff were really, really nice; they even told me when I could enter the screening room when I was waiting outside, which I'd never experienced before. Seats were great, had a slight issue with the wrong version of the film being played but they fixed it really quickly.”
“I went with my family on Saturday at midday, and it wasn't crowded at all. The place was clean, tidy and the temperature on the cinema was right too. People on duty were friendly and kind. As a bad point I noticed that now adults have to pay a bit more than kids (not the same £5 as usual).”
“I’ve been coming to this cinema for a few months now since it switched to a Vue. Honestly the staff wasn’t the most helpful to begin with but through time they’ve become so friendly and you can tell the manager has put time in building a team that genuinely cares for the cinema and customers. Every time I go I’m greeted with a friendly hello and there’s never any hassle I show my ticket and I’m straight through. The cinema is always clean and has a relaxing atmosphere pretty much all the time.”
“My daughter has been a part of the Spotlight family for around 6 years now and she has absolutely loved it since day one. She started as a tiny Junior and is about to head into Seniors, along the way she has been lucky to perform in a few theatres, doing the annual shows and a few Pantos. Her confidence has soared and she has great stage presence. The Staff here are fabulous, always friendly and very professional.”
“I joined EMS in 2023 and it has been the most welcoming and enjoyable musical theatre society I've ever had the pleasure to be involved with. They have great opportunities for performers, lots of social events, and the productions are amazing. I recommend for anyone considering joining a musical theatre group.”
“Excellent acting, a tour de force.”
“Very detailed website that shows lots of pride in the company and its deeds. Many original, thought-provoking plays and a clear interest in TiE (Theatre in Education) and engaging the audience with lots of techniques in the plays such as multi-roling and physical theatre. Could be better if they toured in a few more locations during a tour, but overall not much to improve as New Perspectives has shown their hard work and effort through the production of many diverse plays that have removed barriers and include representation.”
“William visited us for my daughters 40th birthday he had us amazed from start to finish, all the adults and children were star struck with his magic skills. Highly recommended.”
“Just been to watch Ghost Train, jolly entertaining. Well done to cast and crew, a great show!”
“Every time this theater group amazes me, I enjoy going to their show. Taking photos during the show is prohibited.”
“Having used Design Innovations services a number of times over the last 10 years i wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Control 4 experts! Professional, efficient and knowledgeable every time.”
