This is not a review of the production but of the theatre itself. Staff are friendly and the theatre is clean and comfortable. Food and drink prices are high £3 for a bottle of water, more for sweets and crisps. Tickets were expensive. One price for all no student, oap etc. not accessible to all. It’s an expensive evening out. We saw “Snow White” and the show was brilliant! Won’t be returning soon at this price though!

Although not much to see here during the day, the temple and the surrounding park which overlooks the Royal Palace, becomes a focal point for crowds who gather in the evening to watch the sunset and party along to the buskers.

It retains its old world charm. The seating enables a good view of the stage from pretty much anywhere. Although small the acoustics are good. Haven't been here for years. But I'll definitely have a look at the programme of events for the coming months.

We went to see this year's panto, Peter Pan. All the cast were amazing. The theatre staff are attentive, cheerful and helpful, can purchase snacks and drinks on the interval. Not a massive theatre but perfect for the town.

Unfortunately on this occasion we had to walk out of the show as we couldn't see over the heads of the people in front of us. We were sat in the Stalls at the back Row T seats 13 and 14. I would advise not booking seats this far back, the view of the stage is easily blocked.
