Excellent, caring team and perfect for cats! My appointment was quick, efficient, and stress-free. The vet and receptionist were both friendly and warm, and it really shows how much they care about the animals (and their humans!). I especially love that they have a cat-only clinic, so you don’t have to wait around with dogs or other animals that might stress your cat out. It makes such a difference. Highly recommend for anyone with a nervous or sensitive cat.
I've had pets for nearly 30 years and I have always had them treated at Moor Cottage. They've seen plenty of dramatic scenes from my pets - from broken tails to major surgery - and always kept me up to date with what needed to be done and what options were available. Booking an appointment is quick and easy, and both the receptionists and vets are very kind and empathetic, and upfront about the costs and procedures required. They are also highly skilled: one of my pets only had a 50% chance of surviving a serious operation and went on to live for over a decade. Yesterday I had to have my beloved cat of 18 years put to sleep, and the vet was very sympathetic - they gave me a print of his paw and a vial of his fur as a keepsake. I greatly appreciate all that they've done for me and my pets over the years. Thank you!

I highly recommend Moor Cottage as a veterinary practice to look after your pets. It is always easy to get an appointment on the same day, you will be greeted and treated by very friendly staff, and their entire clinic is exceptionally clean and welcoming. Our cats have been very well cared for since I started using them 8/9 years ago all the way from yearly vaccinations to ad hoc illnesses/injuries.

The vet clinic is really clean and the staff are all helpful and friendly. They really listen to the needs of my cat and ensure they create a calm environment for her. They are also great at answering any questions I have and giving advice.
Honestly nothing negative to say other than it's a little expensive but as a first time pet owner I don't have much to compare against. On the positive spin however, you have a bunch of really passionate vets and nurses who you can see actually care about the animals. From getting emergency appts at the drop of a hat or phone calls if needed, to the regular check ups they offer where they are happy to answer any questions or pass on good information etc it really does give you peace of mind which ultimately makes it well well worth the price.
