“So impressed with the upcycled washing machine that was delivered yesterday. Pristine condition and works beautifully. Considering I hadn’t even seen it that’s so good. I referred to it as secondhand but was corrected immediately by Chris and upcycling carefully explained to me, secondhand means used not every part cleaned checked and replaced if faulty. I came to Chris after calling the community furniture project, my go to place, and discovering they had no washing machines at the moment, finding Chris and his upcycling project was a truly great find. Great service too. Would recommend to anyone. Brilliant.”

Allan and Abeir were a superb team with their advice and patience with us throughout the planning. The company that came to fit the worktops were an outstanding group of guys who worked really hard and got a totally superb result. Being particularly fastidious customers Allan and Abeir even took us to the Dekton warehouse so that we could choose from the actual Dekton slab the area that we wanted to be on the Island. Superb service all the way! Would 100% recommend Schmidt Reading. I’m going to miss you guys but thank you for everything. We totally love our new kitchen!”

“I cannot recommend this company or their Engineer James enough and am really surprised by some of the negative reviews. I have used their services twice, firstly in 2019 for a dishwasher which wasn't heating up and secondly last week for a washer/dryer that was leaking badly. Each time scheduling was efficient and communication was effective with advanced notice of arrival being given as requested. James is diligent, punctual and knowledgeable. He also took care to test the machine fully each time and wasn't satisfied until it was working perfectly. He even cleaned up behind him before leaving. If you have an issue with an appliance, don't hesitate to contact Esteem.”
