Becky, the manager of the Calcot store was absolutely fantastic at sorting out an issue I had with an item I’d bought. After a bit of confusion in store, I was terrified I was going to lose a lot of money due to some of Argos’ policies. Goods for some of the more obscure purchases such as blackout blinds or cooker extractor fan filter paper. Staff are quick and efficient. The online service allows you to order and collect, or check availability instore before you visit.
I honestly cannot praise the staff in this store highly enough. They are knowledgeable, polite and extremely courteous. I had three separate interactions with staff in this store yesterday and they were all so helpful - best customer service I've had anywhere in a long time. Thank you, Team Calcot.
Ordered a lampshade online, clearly stated a particular colour. On collection, it was clearly the wrong colour. Took back to the counter for Lola to tell me I had ordered the wrong colour the colour I ordered clearly in the email). Even when her manager came over, she was insistent and almost argumentative that it could have been the same colour I had ordered. Begrudgingly gave me my refund. Thank God for B&M next door!
Bad customer experience – If you're going to buy something, don't purchase from Argos. Instead, buy directly from the brand's website for a better customer experience if any issues arise. With Argos, they simply direct you to the manufacturer. So, why buy from them in the first place?

Google location is wrong. Sending me 25 miles in the wrong direction to a different Argos store. 50 mile round trip. Wasted fuel. Wasted time. Staff at both locations are stroppy, and clearly fed up with having to apologize for it, as this "happens all the time"
I've always found this Argos helpful and attentive especially when collecting eBay parcels with opening times suit and plenty of car parking spaces to make ease with collections. Big shout out to ALL the Calcot team especially Becky and David!
