   I would like to say a big thank you to the young lady and gentleman at the Miele store in Abingdon. We went to them on Thursday as a piece had come out of our vacuum cleaner, and we could not see how to put it back. We were barely through the door when the young lad asked if we would like a hot drink. We said we would love one but didn’t have time. He said he would make them to take away. Meanwhile, the young lady tried very hard to put the piece back in the machine to the extent that she got a new machine and checked where the piece had come from. She was then able to put it back in our cleaner. They both went over and above to be pleasant and helpful. I am hoping someone at Miele sees this post and gives them the praise they deserve. Unfortunately I do not know their names but they were in store on Thursday afternoon. Thank you both again to for your kindness.

   Great place to visit to see and purchase quality, although expensive products. Access is clear, parking not good for disabled persons, no visible disabled persons area. The place is very clean and tidy. Special thanks to Vicky from IT who saw my wife struggling along the path to the outlet centre. Vicky left her desk and came out to greet us and escort us to the outlet centre, which is upstairs. There is a lift, which was made available. The actual shop area is beautifully laid out, clean and tidy. We were greeted by Ash, who was very helpful and provided excellent customer service, and helped us out the shop. Our experience of this place is excellent. Nice saving to be had as well. Worth a visit.

   My first contact with the outlet was disappointing. I spoke to an attendant Max that could not have been more unhelpful and rude. For any question I had his answer was to look at the website. I was unsure I should be buying from a place with such poor customer service. This has changed on my following calls two attendants were super helpful and attentive, they answer all my questions promptly and accurately. I placed an order, it was all supposed to be an easy and straightforward thing. I paid for the installation and recycling, the delivery team had such an attitude and from the moment they walked into the house they started looking for excuses not to complete the delivery. They told me I would have to call a plumber because they could not remove the old washing machine from under the counter. I told them I could do that myself if needed. The old washing machine has been removed twice before without any issues. Than they said they could not unscrew the fitted door from the old appliance?????? I told them I can do that myself and went to get the tool needed. It took me less than a minute to remove the two screws holding the door. As they found it all too difficult and clearly did not want to do the job they just left. Than they called me offering another day for delivery, by than I decided to cxl the order and buy a brand new one somewhere else. Wonder what is included on the installation. Maybe they should write down in details what installation and recycling means. Clearly in this case for this delivery guys means something very different than one would expect. Stay away to avoid trouble.

   Great service from the Miele Outlet. This is our first Miele tumble dryer and like many others we are trying to reduce our energy consumption as much as possible. Amy-lea At the Miele Outlet give out fantastic advice and product knowledge first over the phone and then at the outlet shop where we were able the pick up the appliance there and then. We have 14 days to exchange our tumble dryer if we are no happy with it and it comes with a 2 year guarantee all at a significantly discounted price I would recommend the Miele outlet to anyone looking at this category of appliance.

   Looking for a new washing machine we figured we’d see what the Outlet centre had to offer and get a feel for what the machines looked like. Dan and Sam couldn’t have been more helpful, explaining what the B2 and B3 grades meant, and guiding us to the right machine with honest advice. Throughout our visit all the staff were polite and helpful and said hello, even the ones just passing through the showroom. Miele turned what we were worried would be a minefield of a choice into a pleasant experience. Our chosen machine was delivered within two weeks and has been performing perfectly and as you’d expect a new machine to, all with the benefit of saving 35% off the new price. Can’t recommend the team at Miele enough.
