   I'm a trade customer, so nice lady calls me every week, just doing her job. No problem with that. I ask her to stop calling, she's wasting her time and mine. She says I have to fill in forms to stop Howdens calling me because "head office won't believe her" and "gdpr". Goodbye Howdens. Plenty of other places to buy from.

   My challenge is to find a good reputable fitter as Howdens is trade only. What is stopping Howdens from creating a forum where fitters can opt to join and customers can rate their work? This would create a review forum from validated customers and avoid cowboy fitters from spoiling Howdens reputation.

   Top People! The Geezer behind the counter couldn't have been more knowledgeable or helpful, even though I started with "It's just an inquiry..." As any tradesman will tell You, start with a line telling a man he ain't getting a sale, and You're usually in the winter wastelands of helpfulness! Just for that I'd give 'em 6 stars if I could.
