Private care at Guys is exceptional. ALL of the staff are so kind and compassionate. They were all so attentive at all times, checking up on me and making sure I was comfortable. As hospital stays go, this was very bearable. I came away feeling very well cared for. A bit thank you to the team! you are all wonderful!

My experience with urological illness began suddenly and progressed through a series of in-depth consultations and medical evaluations. This path eventually led me to seek the expertise of Mr Raj Nair at HCA London Bridge Guy’s Hospital. From our initial encounter, I was comforted by his composed professionalism and the clear, thorough explanations he offered regarding each phase of my care. Following a Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate gland, Mr Nair informed me of the presence of multifocal bladder tumours, which had affected up to 90% of my bladder. Taking into account my age of 86, he recommended the removal of both the bladder and prostate. This significant decision would also entail the fitting of a stoma bag. In November, Mr Nair performed the complex surgery to remove both organs and fitted an ileal conduit. Throughout the process, his professionalism, compassion, and expertise were evident. He continuously took the time to listen, respond to my questions, and ensure I felt supported. What could have been an overwhelming experience was transformed into one defined by reassurance and trust. His surgical skill was clear not only in the minimal pain I experienced but also in the swift pace of my recovery. More recently, Mr Nair undertook a third operation—a urethrectomy—to eliminate what I hope may be the final trace of cancer. His dedication and proficiency were, once again, unmistakable. His exceptional bedside manner combines medical excellence with genuine empathy. He treated me with unwavering dignity, patience, and respect. After just a few days of recovery, I was able to return to a fulfilling daily life. I wholeheartedly recommend Mr Nair and his devoted team at HCA London Bridge Guy’s Hospital. Their exceptional standard of care and commitment have made a significant difference in my health and well-being. Mr Nair’s expertise and compassionate approach represent, in my opinion, the very best of modern medicine.

The staff provided exemplary care and support to my partner during a major surgery, which can be an understandably stressful experience. The team was attentive and courteous throughout. We have no complaints regarding the care received. Although there was some delay on the day of admission—arrival was scheduled for 6:30 AM, but we were not attended to by a nurse until after 7:30 AM—this did not significantly impact our overall experience. The accommodation was comfortable and well-equipped. For in-patients, complimentary services such as reiki are available; please refer to the brochure in your room if staying for multiple nights. Overall, we were very satisfied with the level of care and professionalism demonstrated by all staff members. Everyone demonstrated a strong commitment to patient care and upheld the institution's values.

Absolutely brilliant care from everyone - the nurses in both the ICU and the ward are fantastic! Kind, compassionate, always available 24/7 to make sure I was well, comfortable and looked after. The facilities are great, felt very comfortable under very uncomfortable circumstances, and that certainly helps with the recovery. My medical team led by Dr Bille has also been brilliant. I can't recommend them enough.

Great service and experience. All the nurses and staff are very welcoming and nice. I came here to support a friend of mine undergoing surgery in the urology department under surgeon Mr Bultitude. The service has been superb all the way and Mr Bultitude and the surgery team were very caring and nice. The food is very good, and everyone here goes out of their way to make your experience the best possible, sure it's private and you pay for all of it, but after waiting almost two months for this same operation on NHS despite my friend being in a lot of pain constantly, it was not a priority on their lines; so private was the only option and we had to take this opportunity now. Mr Bultitude got all the arrangements going and made it possible to get the operation done in less than two weeks after seeing him for the first time. I'm very impressed with his fast work and efficiency. Thank you all for the great work!

I went for a follow-up appointment after a scan and the receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful. Made me feel at easy whilst waiting, and the appointment itself was quick but efficient. The consultant took time to explain my scans, and was open to answering my questions and providing details when I asked.

So grateful for all care I received. Every single moment is very special. Whenever I need assistance or in pain I would get immediate attention. Nurses and sisters working 24/7 to make patient recover ASAP. Best experience in my life (even received at a hard period). My room is like 5 star hotel but with all medical care I could get. The bed is really comfortable and all systems works perfectly. I would get a painkiller when I need it, I would get attention when I ask. Thank you ! Highly recommended!

Could not fault my experience. The hospital is beautiful, the rooms the largest and best appointed you will find in London and the staff incredibly friendly. I had a surgery and didn't as much as see another patient in the time I was there (which was what I wanted). It felt like the entire floor was there to look after me, and they certainly did.
