“It's very easy to tell that Sarah is a 'cat person'. The setup is lovely and I was amazed as how easily my two cats settled in to the room for the 6 days they were to spend here. On return home they were so chilled out and it felt to us a good indication of the care they'd been given during their stay. My son absolutely loved the postcard that arrived the next day from the cats saying what a great time they were having too! Everything felt like the cats are the priority over all else, with an appreciation that it can be stressful leaving your animals with someone else when you go away. We will absolutely be using Dulverton again, thank you Sarah.”

Grant’s determination to help me find the right property made all the difference, and both Grant and Nicola showed relentless persistence and professionalism despite repeated setbacks with the chain. Ram, our host, made the experience extra special — he surprised us with a bottle of prosecco and chocolates as we were there for a special occasion, which was such a lovely touch. “Very nice hotel. Is not expensive but the services are very good for the money. The rooms are clean, every day the cleaners change the bed sheets, towels and consumables. The rooms have big LCD TV, air conditioning, hair dryer, kettle, mini fridge, safe and microwave oven. The room doors are locked with electronic latches wich sometimes doesn't work properly because of magnetic cards, but the problem is very well known by the hotel employees and they will change your card without any problems. Parking is not free and you can park at the basement of the hotel or into Ibis hotel parking.”

“Had a great stay here for 4 weeks..very clean and excellent location close to Croydon city with bus stop right at door step.....Very friendly and helpful staff ! my room was specious with newly renovated bathroom. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and i will be looking forwards to going back!!!”

“A nice hotel with the carpark at the front, there's no lift only stairs, the rooms are large and there are no bath tubs. There is an interconnecting door from Travelodge to Toby Carvey, it's located between the hotel reception and the stair case, it's easy not to notice it, I only noticed it when I was in Toby Carvey and went to the Gents toilets which is actually in Travelodge side.”

Caroline took the stress out of trawling the internet to find the perfect hotel, nailing the brief and sending us a shortlist of options, all of which ticked our boxes. The booking process was slick from start to finish and it was very reassuring knowing she was only a quick message away should we need her whilst we were abroad.”

“Matt & Bev were the perfect hosts. Hospitable, warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The crumpets were divine, the room was absolutely beautiful, and the location could not have been better. Just minutes on foot to the Lloyd Park tram station. I can not rave about this beautiful B&B, or the hosts, enough.”

“Highly recommend! Would definitely return again. I was initially pretty anxious about dropping off our 14 year old cat L who had never been to a cattery before. I did a lot of research beforehand and Farm Cottage had good reviews, so thought I'd give it a go. They welcome visits if you like before you drop your cat off so that you can check out their facilities etc. I didn't do this due to my own time constraints. However, I was pleased when I dropped L off and they allowed me to sit in her pen with her for as long as I liked to get her settled. I brought her favourite blanket and pillow with me so that she had something familiar with too and this was welcomed. They also support cats with conditions. L suffers with cystitis so I gave the Cattery her medication to provide to her during her stay. The Cattery is also located right next door to a vets, so you have that assurance that if there were any issues a vets is just 1 minute away! One of the best things about this place is that they are happy for you to come and visit your cat whenever (during opening hours). When I was enquiring about catteries, some other places said that visits were not allowed! Obviously for peace of mind you want to see how your cat is doing etc. I visited L one weekend and it was lovely to see her in high spirits. Thank you to Dan and the team for looking after L! I'll be sure to return in the future.”

“Zoe's has been a wonderful second home for our dogs for the last four years. Our current springer gets so excited that she tries to drag me to Zoe's front door. Whether it's day care or boarding, Zoe and her family are utterly dedicated to the welfare of the dogs they look after; they are endlessly enthusiastic and inventive as we see in the photos and short videos Zoe sometimes sends us. We can't speak too highly of Zoe's Doggy Daycare”

“Went down for 3 days in Easter holidays and ha really great stay. Landlord was helpful and easy to contact. Flat was really nicely decorated and easy to find. The apartments have gated parking and easy to get into. We kinda struggled with getting out though as found someone had to go outside to open gates then drive out. But we didn't check if easier way of opening carpark gates. Two lifts and wide stairs make for good disability access with ramps to entrance where car park is, and front I remember as being flat or gentle slope. Good signage for flat numbers making getting around inside easy. Window of the lat we stated in had view of carpark so not overlooking any other flats or overlooked.”

In September I visited with my two great friends, one of whom was was celebrating her engagement. The staff were fabulous, food was delicious, and the setting was gorgeous. If you want a stunning place to relax whilst appreciating nature, this is it. We loved the decor, subtle colours and ambience. Well done Birch! We will return.”
