Typical premier inn with great rooms at a good price which were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent and good value. The hotel is in the centre of town and does not have a car park it is close to a secure public car park and advance directions would have been helpful. Easy to get out to the countryside and chatsworth is close by
You know what you're getting with Premier inn. The entrance is a little different to find when you come out of Saltergate car park. You need to walk down the side of the building for approx 50mtrs to it, but, now I know. And the car park is nice & secure. It's a 2 minute walk into the centre of town, and restaurants and bars close by, too. I will stay again when we visit family.
Location is perfect. Stoned throw from cheap secure overnight parking. Rooms are clean quiet and comfy. Staff excellent and the food and drink really well done. I will stay here again.
Right in the town centre, but not noisy. Rooms spotlessly clean. Accessible rooms have plenty of space easily accessed bath or shower with shower chair too. Staff are extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast had lots of options to suit all tastes from cereal and toast to full English or just yogurt and a muffin.
Lovely hotel, the staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Plenty of parking close by, about 5 mins walk from the hotel itself. You can't park directly outside the hotel however due to one way systems. Definitely would stay here again when I'm in the area.

Good location for the shops. Staff are friendly and helpful. Some of the rooms are in need of redecorating. Only problem with staying here is that people who bring young children just seem to allow them to run the full length of the corridor and it's quite annoying to be honest. This should be stopped because when you are going out of the door of the room you are in these children just continue to run up and down. It's a accident waiting to happen.
Lights in the rooms don't work without the key card in the slot near the door, so if your a family and 1 wants to nip out, you all have to go or be in the dark. Nice comfy, king-size beds, a bit tall for me. Nice spacious room, we stayed in a family room, we had a king-sized bed n a single bed for my son. Nice artwork.
