“A hidden little gem of a place ... We've driven past this place many a times on our way to town - not thinking much of it.. it's a shame we didn't try it sooner! Food: Fantastically tasty food, which was prompt and well presented. On the first visit, there was a substitute on my tagliatelle - but this is because it's all made fresh that day and we arrived one hour before closing. Tried a few different starters/sharing plates, both were beautiful and (as much as I know) tasted authentic. Each following visit has been equally beautiful food. Service: First time, we arrived an hour before closing (cause... Yolo and we were hungry) and they were still very welcoming and accommodating. We still weren't rushed to order out food, even with the time. Everyone was friendly, polite and helpful. On following visits, everyone has been beyond lovely on each visit ... Atmosphere: Decorated with little touches of Sicily - it has a nice ambience for the type of food and cuisine served. It can get a little loud, with the size of the room, but nothing to stop you visiting this beautiful little gem. Would definitely recommend and will continue to return.”

Had to wait a little while as everything was made to order and lots of pizza was being ordered. Definitely worth the money, vast range of cider, beers and larger. Will be going back”

“First time ever tried over weekend,had lunch with friends.What a beautiful place,well impressed on arrival with the lovely decor and greeting from staff. All the food and drinks ordered were fantastic, generous portions and red hot. It got busier as we were there and some people couldn't be accommodated due to being so busy. Didn't have desserts but they looked very tempting. Lovely outdoor area but the heavens had opened, however must ve very busy in summer. Really lovely venue,would not hesitate to return and recommend.”

“Stopped in for a spur-of-the-moment afternoon tea on a day out to Chesterfield. Everything was delicious (especially the sugar-topped scones!) and we had plenty of space upstairs. Different styles of chicken, pork, beef, chips, dairy and is reasonably priced really!! Staff are friendly and everything is laid on in sections so you know where to locate what you want!”
