“Had the most amazing Christmas Fayre meal ever ... so accomodating... my daughter is the fussiest eater ever but gave her exactly what she wanted . food was second to none , everything home cooked, soup was amazing , prawn cocktail best we've seen ever ... pate absolutely beautiful. Absolutely nothing I could fault if I tried ... if I'd have known previously would have booked for Xmas day as all food was amazing . Staff are thr friendliest people you will ever meet. An absolute hidden gem xxx”

“I visit Ashgate coffee co quite often and have always been highly satisfied with the food and service and there is always a nice atmosphere, you just can't fault it! would highly recommend a visit. You can also pop into the charity shop and have a look too, some nice bargains to be had well worth a look”

“Lite Bites do the best sausage cobs I've EVER eaten. At such great value too. And great staff. I literally drive 6 miles at lunchtime, past many other cob shops, just to experience the perfect food again.”

It says something when my 6 year old daughter, coming home from her school disco notices this. However the food is exceptional. “My partner and I are regular customers here and what a Lovely sandwich bar it is. Plenty of choice from a bacon butty to homemade hot dishes (quiches, lesangne) to salads, that are very tasty. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and the place always looks spotlessly clean. Highly recommend that you call in and support this hidden gem. Keep up the good work guys and gals.”

“Lovely little courtyard bistro, discovered as we walked through from the car park towards the castle. Decided to pop in for a coffee and some lunch. Lovely coffee, great service. We chose a tuna sandwich and salad which was really tasty and a chicken wrap with chips. Both enjoyed our meals and it's a lovely little bistro.”

“My favourite restaurant, we’ve been coming for years. The staff are brilliant and the atmosphere is so welcoming and uplifting. Wherever we travel we get sushi and none has compared to how fresh and tasty the sushi is here. A lot of all you can eat restaurants skimp out on the quality of food but not here!”

“We had a fabulous overnight stay at the Pebley Inn. It has a lovely deck outside overlooking the countryside, luckily we had a lovely autumn night to make the most of it. We were greeted at check in by the lovely Olivia, it was such a warm friendly welcome and she continued to look after us all night. We stay in a lot of pubs on our travels and don't normally get such amazing service. Food delicious. Beers kept well. Warm atmosphere in the pub. Room well equipped. The whole night was excellent.”

“This is now our second delivery of sofas from Ashgate after buying a good number of years ago. The sofas are great quality and low prices, getting 7 seats for just £389. Delivery £25 The delivery staff were very helpful, and resourceful, and took the utmost care by putting down protective coverings etc. Highly recommend this store for quality used and new furniture.”

“we've been going to The crown and Anchor for perhaps over a yr now. we live close to Chesterfield town centre and enjoy Friday nights in this pub . we visit perhaps a few times a month. really nice atmosphere and staff are very welcoming and friendly. The pub raise alot of money for different charity's., great entertainment and quizzes. highly recommend!!”
