   This place is wonderful. Over a two week period, I ventured into several Nth Wingfield pubs but always came back to The Shinnon. It is a human and dog friendly pub with good staff and atmosphere. There always seems to be something on - live sport, weekly quiz nights, live music artists, and regular comedy or music bingo nights. Local football club teams go there for beverages and food after home games - even inviting their visiting teams. You must try this place out!

   Looks run down externally, however it was clean inside with all the usual basics, plus sport on 2x large tvs. (If you like that kind of thing). The bar staff were chatty and polite and the beer prices were VERY reasonable. Due to this, and we'd just done a 6 mile trail run, we stayed for 2 reasonable pints of cask ale. It was very quiet when we went in at 3:30, but had livened up by the time we left at 4:45

   Had a wonderful evening. Celebrating their 10th anniversary. Great stage in there for a great band The WonderWhys. Fantastic knees up. Was heaving to the rafters. Dancing and singing. Fantastic staff. What more can I say.

   Absolutely brilliant local pub. Nice interior but it's real plus is a brilliant atmosphere and superb landlord and staff. You will always be made welcome by regulars and staff and everybody is happy to talk.
