   Great stay away over New Years Eve, rooms comfortable and warm, a real country pub that has bags of character and characters. Stayed in room 1 and didn't hear any of the other guests, must call out the boneless chicken and salt and pepper chips, amazing .

   Comfortable for a night with good facilities. Basic food menu, but do e reasonably well. Walls seem paper thin, we could ehsr next door. Bathroom smelt a little of frying oil. All fine for the price and a quick stopover though.

   Overnight stay due to attending a nearby wedding do. Didn't have chance to sample drink or food at bar but looked like a good range of beers and food looked tempting that other diners had. Friendly atmosphere. Few in. Welcoming staff. Super friendly landlords dog. Proper country pub with great views. Single room I had was great. Decent size, good quality bathroom. TV, tea/coffee. I will pop in if in the area again

   We had a fabulous overnight stay at the Pebley Inn. It has a lovely deck outside overlooking the countryside, luckily we had a lovely autumn night to make the most of it. We were greeted at check in by the lovely Olivia, it was such a warm friendly welcome and she continued to look after us all night. We stay in a lot of pubs on our travels and don't normally get such amazing service. Food delicious. Beers kept well. Warm atmosphere in the pub. Room well equipped. The whole night was excellent.

   Came here to eat as we were staying in a nearby hotel. Although the menu was very limited, and they were out of one of the dishes, I was very surprised at how great the food was. It didn’t take long to come and was piping hot. I had the steak and Stilton pie and it was a very generous portion. Overall it was a good experience here and would definitely recommend it for others!

   Amazing food and hospitality. My husband and I were very impressed, the Chef went above and beyond to accommodate us on Boxing Day. We are not from the area and just visiting, and this was an unexpected gem that we stumbled across. The food was excellent and the staff and service was professional and welcoming. We have booked to go for new year while we are still in town! Highly recommend.

   Just dropped in here, passing through really. Just had the best value, tasty steak pie imaginable. Our party also had the lasagne. You have to see it to believe it. Staff just as they should be, polite, friendly, helpful. Coming back later this week. Don’t do that very often!!!

   Lovely meal with the family this evening. Food great and staff brilliant. Ordered the Bbq ribs and chicken wings to share for a starter. Absolutely delicious but had to share with rest of family and ended up taking a doggy bag home. So be aware. Would definitely recommend this place.

   Stayed here overnight in motorhome. Fantastic welcome from staff and locals. This is a lovely traditional pub handily located near to motorway. Sadly we were too late for food but menu looked good. Good selection of beers and snacks, great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this pub as a stop over.
