Had a nice afternoon here after going to a hand fasting ceremony in the chapel behind the pub. Welcoming place with a very friendly barman.
Good quality beer with a friendly service
Great real ale pub with a cosy welcoming atmosphere. Dog friendly too. Open fire . Staff friendly.

Every time I visit Chesterfield this is my pub of choice. Great atmosphere. The landlord and lady are very welcoming and the beers are excellent. Give it a try.
