Visited on a Sunday for the buffet and was very impressed with the food quality, service and value for money. They had a couple of chicken options on offer (Chicken tikka masala and Chicken Bhuna) they also had lamb Rogan Josh and a vegetarian curry which I didn't try. They had a good selection of salad, side dishes like onion bhaji's, samosa, breads and poppadoms which were delicious as well as dessert. The chicken tikka was a little bit coconut heavy and a little sweet for my personal preference but the chicken was lovely and tender, the chicken Bhuna was good and it was nice to try something different. I will definitely be visiting again and ordering something from the main menu. The restaurant was lovely, warm and welcoming and the staff were very attentive.

I was so impressed with my visit here. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly warm and attentive. We were greeted and seated promptly, and our server was knowledgeable and passionate about the menu. When we had questions about a few dishes, he gave us fantastic recommendations and was genuinely eager to help us choose. The food was absolutely stellar. The naan was fresh out of the tandoor, perfectly fluffy and had a wonderful, authentic flavour. Our curry was served piping hot, rich, and perfectly spiced definitely not greasy. Even the rice was light, fluffy, and a perfect companion to the main dishes. You can really taste the care that goes into the cooking. The manager even stopped by our table to ensure everything was to our liking, which was a lovely personal touch. The entire experience felt welcoming and the value for the quality was exceptional. We will definitely be back and are already recommending it to friends.

Delicious food, good prices and excellent customer service. Really friendly staff. Also naan breads are the best ones I ever had, they are something else and it is worth visiting to try. We are definitely coming back.

Wow. I have been driving past this restaurant on my way to work, so for a family meal we opted to finally try it. Midweek it was busy, not empty like most places around, I mean actually busy. That says a lot these days and we all commented that people were still arriving after 7pm and even after 8pm, and that was on top of take away orders! We enjoyed the vegetable MOMO, onion bhaji, poppadoms and pickle tray, mojito mocktails, paneer Lababdar and lamb byriani. All were presented beautifully, perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and balanced. There is a reason why they are busy. The food is exceptional, service attentive and the atmosphere relaxing. We were made to feel very welcome. As a side note we usually like a peshwari naan, tonight we opted for a date and ginger naan to go, and it was delicious, like stunning, and became the new firm favourite. We are looking forward to returning soon!

Very good restaurant. Sunday buffet is a really decent option. Excellent service and beautiful decor. Food 4 star only because we are spoilt with choice where we live but it is excellent for Clay Cross. More choice of desserts on the buffet would be a good improvement.

We visited on Friday evening for the first time. We originally booked the table for 7pm, but they were more than happy for us to come a little earlier. On our arrival, the staff were very accommodating and the place was clean and aesthetic. The food didn’t take long to arrive, and it was lovely. Very reasonably priced and large portions too! I would highly recommend this restaurant, and can’t wait to be back.

Love the food here. A bit slow taking drinks orders, a few from the menu unavailable. Went as a group of twelve and ended up on separate tables, not ideal! The Sunday buffet if great as you get to try a bit of everything. Car park is a little tight if full for a large car.

This was the first time getting takeaway from Kathmandu Gurka as we have just moved into the area. We ordered at 7pm and got our food by 8pm, the food was hot and delicious and included poppadoms with sauces which we hadn’t ordered. We ordered a lamb dish which was soft and tender and very tasty, will definitely go back. Highly recommend.
