“A hidden little gem of a place ... We've driven past this place many a times on our way to town - not thinking much of it.. it's a shame we didn't try it sooner! Food: Fantastically tasty food, which was prompt and well presented. On the first visit, there was a substitute on my tagliatelle - but this is because it's all made fresh that day and we arrived one hour before closing. Tried a few different starters/sharing plates, both were beautiful and (as much as I know) tasted authentic. Each following visit has been equally beautiful food. Service: First time, we arrived an hour before closing (cause... Yolo and we were hungry) and they were still very welcoming and accommodating. We still weren't rushed to order out food, even with the time. Everyone was friendly, polite and helpful. On following visits, everyone has been beyond lovely on each visit ... Atmosphere: Decorated with little touches of Sicily - it has a nice ambience for the type of food and cuisine served. It can get a little loud, with the size of the room, but nothing to stop you visiting this beautiful little gem. Would definitely recommend and will continue to return.”

“Tried for the first time tonight after being told to try off many different friends. Amazing quality food, great prices and freebies!! Service was brilliant, I looked at the wrong menu online but they were patient and made things for me that were not on the menu. We will be back especially now we have seen the amount of choice on the correct menu.”

Seriously, it’s the best u can get delivered. Even if they are busy, if u need it quick they deliver and it’s always absolutely bang on. Never leave a review but they deserve a good ‘en”

“So tasty is a true credit to the community. They do sandwiches and breakfast rolls that are cooked to perfection. My favourite is the belly buster sandwich!! They also do a wide range of cakes, pasties and drinks & even Sunday dinners for collection or delivery. Lovely staff and always on hand to take orders for collection or delivery over the phone.”

“I thought I'd stop giving my money to those pesky American chains and try a local pizza by local people. Boy they did not disappoint! Ingredients quality is much higher and our pizzas had this beautiful char from what I assume is a wood fired oven. Piecewise it's about the same as a D*****'s and delivery was exactly on time so it's a no brainer, this place is my official new pizza provider. I can't wait to try the calzones!”

Service was first class, Antonio I believe his name was, he was very attentive without being overbearing. He was very kind and memorable. Food was clearly made with high quality ingredients that represented Italy in its finest form, food was fairly priced compared to the top quality we received. Wine was cold, which seems like a normal thing but sometimes it can come warm, not in this case, perfect temperature. Atmosphere was really nice, it's not often I feel the need to take photos of the decor and surrounding areas but this place was truly unique and eye catching, whilst being very home like. Perfect balance. Overall I am very impressed and if I return to Chesterfield again I will surely visit this spot. Please give it a go, Antonio truly deserves all the business. Highly recommend.”

“A really good Italian restaurant and reasonably priced. However, we visit on a regular basis to shop in their deli..... They are open during lockdown, following health and safety regulations for covid 19. They sell many Italian products by Italian manufacturers, some that can't be bought in our supermarkets. The owners and staff are very pleasant and helpful. I love visiting here.”

Maison Mes Amis gives you that relax sophisticated feel without being pretentious. The staff are friendly and on the ball. The menu is a mix of everyday food, delivered with a special touch to lift it to gourmet standards. We love the Maison Burger, unrivaled in the area! From top quality beef to that touch of delish as the cheese drips down onto the onion marmalade. A true winner ! Other specialities include; the cheese plater, prawn cocktail, Steak and Blue cheese sauce . All delivered to perfection. Wether you want a little nook nicely hidden away between the fig tree and flowers on the back terrace , a table out front or prefer dinning inside. It is a cut above the rest. And has become my neighborhood fav . I give it 5 stars!”
