“Martin served us all night with such infectious enthusiasm, it was lovely! The food was amazing as always, as well as the cocktails. Being able to sit with a view of the spinnaker tower and the water just tops the atmosphere. What topped it even more was getting a free main course for my birthday month!”

“Really delicious authentic Italian food at sensible prices. Good selection of wine and best coffee for miles around. I had wild boar ravioli and it was fabulous. Others had prawn spaghetti and pizzas. Food was so good even had dessert which we never normally do. Will definitely be going back.”

“Had a really lovely, relaxed lunch here. Food was tasty, well cooked and reasonably priced. Service was great - friendly and attentive without being overbearing. 4 stars for atmosphere may be a bit unfair as we went at a quiet time with only one other customer, so difficult to rate, but we were glad it was quiet so we could talk and background music was at a pleasant volume. Would add a star for the fact this place was actually open and serving food at 2.30 on a saturday afternoon when everywhere else around had closed their kitchens! Would happily return.”

“My partner and I made a booking for his 30th birthday. We went and ordered the mains straight away.I got the Kleftico, which was soooo good I can’t even explain, the meat was coming off the bones literally! Just talking about it makes my mouth water! My partner got the Pollo Involtine another show stopper, everything in the plate goes so well together, just finger licking good! And then for dessert we shared a sticky toffee pudding which was perfectly designed as a birthday dessert. Other than the fabulous food, that warmth and the hospitality of the staffs are out of this world! I can’t even recommend Da Vinci Restaurant enough, so much so that we live in the mainland and are already planning on when we can come back to Isle of Wight just so we can come back to Da Vinci Restaurant again!”

“A really nice, friendly Mediterranean restaurant offering really good food and excellent service. I called in here en route to Southampton for my daughter's birthday primarily because of the good reviews here on Google. I can honestly say that the reviews are accurate. The whitebait, calamari and prawns we perfectly cooked and my steak was as expertly cooked as any I've ever had outside of London. The service was excellent and our host, Bethany, made us and most importantly my daughter feel very welcome on her birthday. We'll certainly return if we're ever in the area again!”

“I don't often write reviews, but this pizza was an absolute standout meal. After a quick chat with the lovely waitress and then chef, I settled on the Calabrese. Fantastic rich tasting base and sauce, with plenty of flavoursome toppings. As a local favourite establishing their first shopfront I wish them very well. I would certainly go out of my way to return again should I have the chance from Australia.”

“First time at Prezzo Port Solent - the food was excellent and so were the staff - our waiter Pal was very attentive. One observation for restaurant owners - the booth my family and I were in was really cold and a continuous draught around our ankles and knees. I did say to the manger about this but she couldn’t do anything as the heaters were on full blast and it’s obviously a construction problem somewhere as they have had comments before. Other than that a fabulous visit. Will visit again but not sit in the booths.”

“We had a lovely meal in Prezzos tonight. We were shown to a table away from others which suited us. The service was good and the food was served quick and hot. Our server was the manageress Boglarka who gave us plenty of time to make our choices. The food was excellent. We came away having had a lovely meal.”

“Visiting Southsea and had to find a quick meal to satisfy teens and grandparents alike. What can I say, the best pizza I have had (better than domino’s by a long shot) and good value too. We weren't surprised to hear that next week (and the last for 2024) is nearly sold out. If you are thinking about it, get booking, you won't be disappointed. “Lovely little restaurant. We had the set menu at lunch. Loved each of the three courses. They served a warm small loaf of malted bread with butter and a dish of fat olives at the beginning - nice touch to whet our appetites. We had the charred bream to start, and mains were the pork belly and the ox cheek. Desserts were warm carrot cake with cream cheese sorbet and dark chocolate bavarois with rhubarb. Everything was delicious. We will definitely return.”
