Looked forward to a attractive restaurant, staff were good. Sally was missing the wine and the food shown in the menu. The replacements were, frankly, poor. Did we complain at the time ? I accept we didn’t, but it must have been obvious from the quantity of food left on our plates that all was not well. The table was simply cleared and the bill presented.

Fantastic food! And I truly mean fantastic!! However, the service we received was poor. We were greeted and seated swiftly by an older Gentleman. However, the table service we received by a young slim girl was downright rude and arrogant. No smiles, no pleases no thank you. Slamming around of plates and cutlery. All she was interested in was flirting with a young male waiter. Took an age to get the bill and never once asked if we wanted additional drinks or if we were happy with our meals. Yes I would return but a little staff training would be a wise idea.

Thank you Tonino's for our amazing, delicious pizzas! The best in town! The salmon arincini rice balls were perfection! Gutted I had to share these with my husband! The homemade garlic dip was lush! Thanks! We will be back!

The food was fantastic. Service is not so great. We were asked twice what drinks we wanted. Then asked for our order when we'd only just been given the menus. It was fine, but it could be brilliant with a bit more attention to detail.

Dissapointing experience over the Bank Holiday. Food was poorly cooked. Monkfish stew had very little Monkfish and potatoes were not cooked. Seafood spaghetti - a staple at an Italian was very poor. Wine not good. Even the pizza's were mediocre. We only had a main course. Service was good but it did not compensate for the poor over priced cuisine.

Excellent food attentive staff. Lovely decor. Flat street access. Car parks nearby. I would have given 5stars but not wheelchair accessible. Can leave mobility scooter outside as toilets also on ground floor.

My Mum celebrated her 70th at Tonino’s and it didn’t disappoint! We had a wonderful, authentic Italian meal. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. Looking forward to my next visit.

Not a large restaurant nor a large menu, but there's something for most pallets and the food was cooked well and tasty. Staff were very accommodating and attentive. The only reason I didn't give a higher rating was that I felt the menu seemed expensive, but I will return on my next jaunt to Cowes.
