“Very relaxed atmosphere, at no time did we feel under pressure to order, plates weren't cleared until we had finished eating, excellent range of dishes on the menu, my guest is vegetarian and there was a good range of dishes for her to select from. Staff were welcoming, friendly and professional, the restaurant was very clean. My guest has lived in Lebanon for several years and assured me about the authenticity of the cuisine. Prices are very reasonable, I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.”

“Had a really lovely, relaxed lunch here. Food was tasty, well cooked and reasonably priced. Service was great - friendly and attentive without being overbearing. 4 stars for atmosphere may be a bit unfair as we went at a quiet time with only one other customer, so difficult to rate, but we were glad it was quiet so we could talk and background music was at a pleasant volume. Would add a star for the fact this place was actually open and serving food at 2.30 on a saturday afternoon when everywhere else around had closed their kitchens! Would happily return.”

“A really nice, friendly Mediterranean restaurant offering really good food and excellent service. I called in here en route to Southampton for my daughter's birthday primarily because of the good reviews here on Google. I can honestly say that the reviews are accurate. The whitebait, calamari and prawns we perfectly cooked and my steak was as expertly cooked as any I've ever had outside of London. The service was excellent and our host, Bethany, made us and most importantly my daughter feel very welcome on her birthday. We'll certainly return if we're ever in the area again!”

“Tried this lovely restaurant tonight as we are in the area for 24 hours only, went for a walk and decided, quite late, that we were hungry. We were lucky enough to get a table as the kitchen was about to close. We had Pad See-Ew, mine with chicken, his with giant prawns, and a chicken satay sharer starter. The satay sauce was delicious; I've never had one like it before. The Pad See-Ew were amazing, piled high with good stuff and extremely tasty. I couldn't eat all of mine so I have it as takeaway. The restaurant is intimate and very comfortable. Don't walk past it. The prices are excellent, especially for a seaside area. If you're visiting Southsea, then this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I promise you, you will find excellent food, which is great value, and absolutely the kindest staff in the area.”

“Been here loads of times and always drag my colleagues along when we're in town. Informal and friendly with great fresh wholesome food. Prices are reasonable and they serve olives, chilli sauce and warm flat bread as a complimentary appetiser. Try the excellent Turkish wine. Food is cooked over hot coals in the restaurant for an authentic flavour.”

“There are so many great things I could say that I don’t know where to start! I recently had my 30th birthday meal here after visiting for the first time a few weeks before and loving the food. From the time I booked to the time we left after my event, the service, food and atmosphere was 10/10. Michael and Logan are brilliant and it felt so lovely to have them included in my birthday. The area was decorated for me, Michael and Logan also became photographers for the night helping us get great pictures (and taking some with us too! :D ) and I even had surprise chocolate cake at the end! All of my guests thoroughly enjoyed it and whatever we needed, Michael and Logan were there. I will definitely be back many more times. Thank you!”

“So so so amazing. I honestly think this is one of the best restaurants experienced. In fact ‘restaurant’ doesn’t do it justice because it sounds a bit traditional, and this is just incredible. An informal, small, intimate restaurant. Exquisite and inventive food (Adam’s cooking is off the chart - flavours are amazing, quality ingredient sourcing is high on the agenda) , Ruby is the best host - kind, professional, fun and makes amazing cocktails. Just go…. ☺️, but book ahead.”

“Went for the first time. It was almost full and we had no reservation but table for 3 was fine. I'm Spanish and a bit reluctant to go to southern european restaurants in the UK due to disappointments on many occasions. We ordered sardines (great, like back home) and calamari (not so great and something I don't ever order in the UK, but my friend wanted to try). Then bacalhau (fantastic), lobster (didn't try but friend say it was great) and fish skewer (just okay, as the salmon was not well done and a bit raw-ish inside, but prawns and other fish were good). Nice desserts too. It's a bit expensive but tbh for the quality and the produce I it is worth it, compared to many other places you go. Yes it's 19 for the bacalhau but that's the price of a Sunday roast these days which much lesser quality produce. They have a lot of deals during the week tbh. I will definitely go back next time I visit Portsmouth.”

“Went with the family for brunch, called in the morning to confirm if they served halal food and they managed to reserve a table for 8 of us with no ease. When we arrived the table was already set up and they were expecting us and we were shown to our table immediately. We were greeted very warmly and all of the staff were very friendly and attentive. With so many of us sometimes you find that it’s harder for staff to adhere to all needs at restaurants however it wasn’t the case here and we couldn’t fault them at all. They put glasses and a jug of water on the table with no hesitation as soon as we had arrived. The food was amazing, we all had something from the Mediterranean menu and my daughter enjoyed her pancakes from the kids menu. Would highly recommend their Shakshouka with added Turkish sausage (sucuk) on the side served with the turkish bread (YUMMY!!!). Shout out to Anwar, he came over to the table and spoke to all of us, even gave us some recommendations on where to go for our short stay. We went around 10am and the restaurant was steady but upon leaving about an hour or so later, it was buzzing and full and I am not surprised because the establishment is well run, nice relaxed atmosphere and the food is 10/10. Note: Although there are Halal food options, there is pork/alcohol served too.”
