   Wow!! Couple from London visiting Isle of Wight for an Autumnal getaway. Spent ages browsing for the best places to eat in Isle of Wight and True Food did not disappoint! We had already fallen in love with the town of Ventnor and decided to visit True Food for dinner. Intimate, relaxed dining experience with great service. Preparation of food and drinks on display and the most amazing flavours. Wasabi Sorbet!!! Will be recommending to friends and family!

   My dad and I visited True Food and treated ourselves to the 5 course tasting menu. It was so worth it! Each course was beautifully presented with alot of effort put into the dishes. Everyone was really friendly and the service was on point. Thanks for a great evening, I'm sure we will be back soon!

   So so so amazing. I honestly think this is one of the best restaurants experienced. In fact ‘restaurant’ doesn’t do it justice because it sounds a bit traditional, and this is just incredible. An informal, small, intimate restaurant. Exquisite and inventive food (Adam’s cooking is off the chart - flavours are amazing, quality ingredient sourcing is high on the agenda) , Ruby is the best host - kind, professional, fun and makes amazing cocktails. Just go…. ☺️, but book ahead.

   My hubby and I had dinner here while visiting the Island for a couple of days. The food was just amazing!!! The starter looked and tasted so good, I forgot to photograph it! We had the daily special which was a starter for 2 people of prawns done 4 ways. For mains my hubby had a whole lobster cooked in tempura batter, served with an Asian slaw, salad and fries with nori. I had half a lobster with chimichurri, Asian slaw, salad and Ratte potatoes with Benito flakes. Dessert was so lovely, it was white chocolate and miso crème brulee, served with raspberry and yuzu donuts. But everything we had including the cocktails was exquisite and the lobster the best we have ever had. The service was impeccable too. So if you are thinking about trying here, don't hesitate just book it and enjoy!

   Truly delicious food! They have only two vegan mains and we ordered both and enjoyed them thoroughly (veg tempura with soba noodles and veg tempura with yellow Thai curry). The hostess is friendly, welcoming and lovely. Will definitely visit again. Hope they expand their vegan menu soon.

   Wow. We were looking for a great dinner and I was completely blown away by the food here. The service was great, very friendly with good recommendations and the right level of banter. The food was excellent, everything had a Asian twist and was locally sourced. The specials were really good with deep flavour and great texture. The flavours all really complimented each other even when I had reservations, I shouldn’t have. Big thumbs up!

   If there is a heaven, then Tz True Food Kitchen will be the ones providing the food. My absolute favourite place to eat. The food is absolutely incredible and all at a very reasonable price. I definitely recommend!
