“We had a great meal at Gem Turkish Restaurant. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The octopus dish, in particular, was absolutely outstanding – easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere. The service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. My only complaint? The remix of Creep by Radiohead that came on during our meal – a complete travesty to music! But even that couldn’t spoil an otherwise excellent evening. Highly recommended.”

“We went to celebrate a special anniversary- a group of 12. Waitresses were lovely and took our orders quickly. Everyone in the group had a different meal and they all came out in a reasonable time and looked delicious. The whole family agreed that it was the best meal out they’d had in a while. If we ever come back to Great Yarmouth I’ll definitely be coming here to eat.”

“Most excellent! Service and food. First time visiting and exceeded our expectations, busy Saturday night and none of the staff seemed phased. Starter and mains prepared perfectly, sea bass amongst the best I’ve had size and taste wise. We’re new to the area and tried a fair few restaurants and Chicos is one of the best! Slightly put off by the large group of people out the front of the restaurant when we arrived, don’t know what they were doing there, but I guess they won’t always be there!”

“We had such a fantastic time at this lovely Greek restaurant. We started off with some amazing cocktails are perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. Then came the food: three delicious dips with warm, fluffy pita, juicy prawn skewers grilled to perfection, and crispy, tender calamari. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served with care. The staff were friendly and attentive without ever being intrusive, and the whole place had such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Greek flavors and a relaxing, enjoyable evening!”

“Had a very nice meal here while staying in Wroxham. We reserved a table for 6 online for mid week dining. We had an indoor table overlooking the river. Our server was excellent and attentive and everyone enjoyed their entrees and desserts.”

“The food we had from Kairali was truly delicious. The staff on the phone and on collection were more than helpful (My wife is Coeliac and they speak gluten free :-) ). The food tasted like it had been cooked to original recipes - better than any take-away I have had before. Highly recommended. Not sure my photo does the food justice, but here you go. “It's always a risk to take your Italian mum to an Italian restaurant abroad, because you never know what you will find. In this case, we could not have made a better choice. We ate one of the best mussels dishes we have ever tried, and the pizza, made by the authentic Neapolitan chef, had nothing to envy to the pizza you try in Italy. The pasta, which is home-made, is wonderful. And portions are very, very generous, just like you to have if you were invited to an Italian family's home. They told us they actually important ingredients, including the flour, from Italy. And you can definitely taste the difference. Our host was also wonderful and made us feel very welcome and at home. We could not recommend this place more! We will be back. Italian approved!”

“Me and partner went in last night (Saturday) for first time. The food was tremendous, very tasty and great value, we even brought half my partner’s home which she has just had for Sunday tea. I have attended the 2 big Turkish restaurants in Norwich Gem and Haggle and this place was as good if not better and will be my go to place in future for Turkish food”

“Authentic Jerusalem street food within the city walls of Norwich. Owners are always so welcoming, very knowledgeable and proud to explain what is on their menu and to show you the special spices they import directly from Golan Heights. The falafel is lovely, soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, in a dish it is combined with hummus of outstanding flavour. Then comes the great selection of pickles including gherkins, tiny pattypans, peppers and cabbage to name a few. Fresh salad features on the plate too, spicy sauces all add to create loads of flavour. Just sublime. Mint and lemon tea is a must to complete the authentic experience. If falafel is not your thing you can always try the chicken schnitzel, lamb, shakshuka, kofte, shawarma and Za’atar. There is always a good selection of cakes, vegan ones too. I love coming here for a healthy and tasty bite to eat.”

“I had a jackfruit burger, and it was incredibly delicious—I was very impressed. It’s one of the tastiest dishes I’ve tried in Norwich. I was particularly impressed with how they fried the jackfruit; it was amazing.”

“We popped in for breakfast. As always there was a queue outside. But we didn't have to wait long. Service was excellent. The food was amazing. Im not saying the playe was full but take a look at the photo. Its remarkably efficiently run and while youre not hassled to leave. You're never left waiting, which is I feel the perfect balance.”

“We had my birthday tea at the Quayside Plaza it's one of my favourite places to eat! We love the olives and fresh bread and my sirloin steak was cooked and seasoned really well and buttery soft with delicious peppercorn sauce.The citrus chicken was also so tasty! We both had drinks and dessert too so at £75 it was really good value. Will definitely be back again soon! Service was excellent!”

“A delightfully authentic Italian deli in the centre of Norwich. I treated myself to a feast for lunch which included pizza slices, a sausage roll, and the best of all: a focaccia with olives, pesto and tomato. Absolutely top-notch food, and the look and feel of the place is also something to write home about. Highly recommended!”

“This is the best Indian I have had. It was an absolute pleasure to dine at The Merchants Of Spice 2 Norwich, Norfolk. A real authentic warm ambiance, I loved the music & the big round table we had was perfect for the six of us.The food quality is unmatched, really clean feel, The tika platter is a must the lamb Rogan josh was superb also. The naan was perfect with a slight toasted bottom, quite unique & tasted lovely. The service second to non, staff polite & more than ready to help us. Nish the owner was up front & center he can be very proud of his restaurant, this is number 2 I believe & I have no doubt they’ll be a number 3 in the future. Thank you for a great night. Oh also I must add there’s a very big spacious car park which was lovely because normally that’s the biggest nightmare. Was lovely to have onsite parking. We traveled in two cars so that was a big help.”

“Fantastic Sunday roast! We had a wonderful family meal; everyone enjoyed their chosen roasts (chicken, beef, and pork). The portions were generous and everything was perfectly cooked. The cauliflower cheese was delicious! The restaurant is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and full of unique little details that make the space feel special. The staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout. We’re already looking forward to coming back to try other dishes!”
