Had a really lovely, relaxed lunch here. Food was tasty, well cooked and reasonably priced. Service was great - friendly and attentive without being overbearing. 4 stars for atmosphere may be a bit unfair as we went at a quiet time with only one other customer, so difficult to rate, but we were glad it was quiet so we could talk and background music was at a pleasant volume. Would add a star for the fact this place was actually open and serving food at 2.30 on a saturday afternoon when everywhere else around had closed their kitchens! Would happily return.

The staff here were efficient and friendly and there was a nice vibe to the place. The flaming chorizo at the table was a nice touch. However, for me, there were a lot of large chunks of fat within the sausage that could have benefitted from more cooking time in the kitchen, prior to bringing out to table. Also, the gyota should have been pan fried as described, and not deep fried, but this didn't detract too much from the dish, overall. We loved the soft shell crab bun and would highly recommend this. The Thai style mussels were plump and juicy and the rich sauce definitely had those subtle Thai flavours, such as lemongrass, garlic, red chillies, and coconut sauce. The 10oz ribeye steak (medium rare) was cooked to perfection, and the peppercorn sauce was tasty and nicely reduced. Also, the prawns that accompanied the steak were beautifully cooked and full of flavour. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as a great place to eat. We had a nice booth that added a cosy feeling to the overall experience.

The lunch specials are great value for money. Every week of the day. Monday thru Friday, there are different selections. Attentive and polite waiter. Causal vibe. Delicious food and generous portion. I am not a big fan of burgers, I must admit that this burger is one of the best I have ever tried. Must try!!

A group of four came here for my friend's birthday meal . We found this establishment very relaxed, clean and welcoming . The service was excellent and unrushed. The food was simply delicious , well cooked, and well presented. Service charge was applied to our bill ,which was not a problem as we were going to leave a tip anyway . I'm definitely returning .

Great first experience. Food was spot on, a large variety of options to choose from and desserts were impeccable. Service was great, was attended to quickly and efficiently. Cocktail menu was a hit and the wine, well you won’t regret the Sauvignon! Will definitely be back again.

Really nice meal in Rocka this evening. Enjoyed the Rocka burger, complete with cheese, bacon, onion rings and salad. We had a side of onion rings too - what can I say, we love onion rings, and these were good! Chips were delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. We had a vegan brownie with salted caramel ice cream and a nickerocker glory for pud. Pudding wasn't as good as the main but still enjoyable. Will definitely return.

The service and food were excellent. A great find in an area that has lots of little places to eat and plenty to choose from. The menu offers an international mix to please anyone. I will definitely be returning here to sample more food and the cocktails.

I couldn't be more pleased with this superb lunch, both in terms of taste, price and size. Few staffs but very professional and friendly. A big mention goes to Natalia who lent me the charger to solve my immediate problem and whose professionalism and warm smile made the meal more enjoyable.

Exceptional food and drinks . I visited here twice on my visit to Portsmouth and I was very impressed on both visits. The lamb shank fell off the bone and was delicious. The staff made us feel very welcome and the service was excellent. Support these guys as its refreshing to have such good food and service.
