I visited this wonderful corner of Italy in the heart of Southsea yesterday for a Christmas party with 30 people, and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and incredibly efficient, and we were truly well looked after. It’s the kind of place you never get tired of returning to. Vincenzo, the owner, is warm, welcoming, and instantly makes everyone feel at ease. The pizza is completely authentic, with homemade dough, and the service from the waiters was attentive and genuinely caring. If you haven’t tried this place yet, I highly recommend you do so as soon as possible.

What a fantastic place. We had a selection of food and everything was amazing with the arancini being the standout. The staff were great, friendly and cheerful which added to the experience. First time for us but certainly not the last time.

Fabulous little gem. Delicious, fresh, and authentic pizza experience. Napoli is my personal favourite, and don't overlook the amazing starters such as Olive Ascolane. It's an excellent midweek choice on Albert Road.

The ovens are hot, the pizzas are hotter, and the prosecco disappears faster than your willpower on a Friday night. We arrived as a noble party of eight, armed with enthusiasm, hunger, and a thirst that only bubbles could cure. Our evening began with high hopes and two bottles of prosecco, which tragically marked the beginning and end of the prosecco era. When informed they’d run out, we collectively mourned while graciously transitioning to wine — a downgrade only in sparkle, not spirit. The pizza? Outstanding. Crispy, generous, and unapologetically authentic. Every bite whispered sweet nothings in Italian, probably something about la dolce vita and slow carb comas. Service was warm and welcoming. They even warned us the food might be slow — which it was — but in the same way a fine painting takes time. We waited, yes, but the payoff was slices so good they could heal family rifts. As for the tomato and mozzarella salad… let's just say it had commitment issues. Four sad slices of tomato arranged like they were attending a mandatory team-building exercise. A minimalist dish for those who find Caprese emotionally overwhelming. But we digress. If you're after an evening of glorious pizza, laughable salads, and prosecco roulette, Panormus is your spiritual home. Just bring backup bubbles. Buon appetito!
