   Our group of 15 had a table booked for a friends Xmas night out the restaurant. All 15 said their food was amazing and very tasty! The service was faultless and payment was swift and efficient. The restaurant has a lovely ambience and atmosphere and was very clean. We shall be back!! Special mentions to Kai, Speranza, Ruben and Gennaro. Sorry if I've mispeled any names! You were all fantastic! Grazie!!

   Lombardi’s is hands-down the best Italian restaurant in Chesterfield! From the moment we walked in, the warm atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely incredible – you can tell everything is made with care and high-quality ingredients. The pasta was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor, and the pizza had that authentic, wood-fired taste you just can’t find anywhere else. The service was outstanding – attentive without being intrusive – and the team really made the whole experience special. We also loved the wine selection, which paired beautifully with our meals. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual dinner or celebrating something special, Lombardi’s delivers every single time. A true gem in Chesterfield – we can’t wait to come back!

   Been to plenty of Italian restaurants and this is certainly one of the finest and most authentic. Service was first class, Antonio I believe his name was, he was very attentive without being overbearing. He was very kind and memorable. Food was clearly made with high quality ingredients that represented Italy in its finest form, food was fairly priced compared to the top quality we received. Wine was cold, which seems like a normal thing but sometimes it can come warm, not in this case, perfect temperature. Atmosphere was really nice, it's not often I feel the need to take photos of the decor and surrounding areas but this place was truly unique and eye catching, whilst being very home like. Perfect balance. Overall I am very impressed and if I return to Chesterfield again I will surely visit this spot. Please give it a go, Antonio truly deserves all the business. Highly recommend.

   We have always enjoyed eating at Lombardi's and recently started eating there more often, visiting once a week over the last four weeks. I honestly never thought I would be writing a review like this. I phoned to book a table for a Tuesday evening at 2pm that day and left a message. I then called back at 5pm, 5.30pm and 6pm after not receiving a call of confirmation, as per their voice mail. I made my fourth call, a lady answered and informed me that they were fully booked, I asked if they had received my message, they had. I asked if they had planned to call me back, they had but had been busy. As it was 6pm I asked when had she planned to call me back and tell me nothing was available. Again I was told she had been busy! With respect I find it hard to believe that a restaurant with Lombardi's reputation cannot return a phone call for a potential booking. As for the to busy excuse, in my opinion that is unprofessional and pathetic. Unfortunately we won't be going back. Lombardi's will I'm sure continue to be popular and I wish them every success. We will miss the fine food, talking about classical guitar and the beer. But thankfully its not the only Italian restaurant in Derbyshire. Arrivederci.

   Mothers day meal woth my amazing girls. What a beautiful establishment. The staff are so accommodating and friendly. Service was rapid. As for the good, it was lush! Definitely going to be back to sample other dishes. A lovely authentic Italian family run business.

   Absolutely first class food, service and atmosphere in this place. Booked before hand, sent our food order in a few days before as we were a party of 10. We arrived on time and our table was ready. Our bride to be was serenaded by a member of staff which was great. Our group had a brill evening here. I recommend Lombardis and will be returning.

   Was staying in the area and having read online reviews, booked a table. We were not disappointed. Warm, friendly welcome and great food. We ordered the special bruschetta, the raviolini and tagliatelle salmone. For dessert, I chose panacotta; hubby asked for crepes which were not on the menu and the staff very kindly obliged. Enjoyed the experience so much that we returned the next evening!
