   The owners were absolutely lovely, gave us free scraps and were overall just really pleasant. The humongous fish was made fresh in front of us so the little 5 minute wait is nothing specially driving 45 to specifically try this fish shop after hearing good reviews and the standards did not disappoint! 100% worth it’s money the extra £1/2 you may spend here is excellent service and high quality food.

   Had a chip butty delivered by friends due to the raves about it. Have to say hands down best chip butty Ive ever had. Chips are firm on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. Not greasy. Very Yummy and the staff are very lovely.

   Huge portions of quality product, I think I can ‘trough a bit’ but this place beats me for one of each. Often get three fish and one chips for my brother, his wife and myself. Also, Elvis doesn’t work hear but another deceased talented musician might.

   Used to go to this takeaway to purchase fish and chips for an elderly friend who I used to literally at their demand make a very long distance day trip to visit and deliver shopping and gifts and a fish supper to before setting off back home as part of the round trip. The quality always good here and although prices went up in was no more than elsewhere really. Remember them as the friendly faced staff who has a chat as they went about their busy duties especially as I knew that I was entering a weird situation at my friend's house when I dropped off the meal as quite often his sin who watched on CCTV would ring and tell me to leave immediately and sometimes even attend and be abusive towards me. However the warmth of the staff attitude was as comforting as the aroma and taste of their excellently prepared well balanced fish and chip meal meal Service with a smile when most appreciated.

   Quality is still fantastic but the prices have gone up massively. Just paid £35 for 3 x fish, 2 x Chips, 1 x peas and 1 x curry sauce. Its now at pub meal prices, but its not served to you on plates for a sit down meal. I will probably still go but only VERY occasionally.
