Great family business chippy, lots to chose from and nice portion size. Sometimes the battered items are quite greasy. The owners are very nice and friendly and make you feel very welcome.

Tiny little fish and chip shop but like diamonds, amazing things come in small packages. Ironically the portions aren't small at all. Having visited another local chippy previously, I was given fish with soggy batter and luke warm chips. NOT the case here. BrimChippy has wonderful crisp batter, hot fresh chips and amazing portions. There's a menu for the kids and always greeted and served with a smile. Amazing staff, amazing food, amazing chippy!
More often than not the food isn't bad. Unfortunately this evening our family were very disappointed with the quality. Fish seemed like it had been sat hours and the chips just didn't seem to be cooked fully as not only couldn't stick a fork in most of them and seemed very rubbery others were just hard inside.
This is an outstanding Chippy ! The owner & team are always engaging every time we go in. So sincere & warm to every one. It says something when my 6 year old daughter, coming home from her school disco notices this. However the food is exceptional. The best fish I have ever had- fish & chips cooked to perfection in a way only real experience can deliver. Totally brilliant. Well done & thank you for, Brim Chippy is No 1
