Cob was good, can't complain. Didn't realise the coffee was going to be from a sachet, rather disappointing. Staff were kind enough, but I did leave not wanting to come back again.
Great little cafe friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Bacon was raw but everything else was amazing. Don’t let that put you off I should have asked for it well done but it wasn’t cooked nearly enough. Would visit again
Chips looked cooked but were hard in the centre and 1 member of staff were quite blunt won't be going again
Had the pleasure of sampling this Hot Roast Cob with all the trimmings, The pork was so flavourful and the gravy and apple sauce finished it off. Staff were friendly and prices are very reasonable
Really good selection of sandwiches. Nice people on the counter. Great location for work. Something in me would rather pay a bit more here than go down to the Tesco Express for a £3 meal deal. Look after your independents!
I asked for a regular egg and bean cob I got 1 egg and few beans that were hard. I also ordered a hot chocolate and wasn't told the machine was down till after paying and when I left the shop tasting the drink was just like hot water so I had to go back to the shop and complain which I don't like doing but the drink wasn't drinkable. the girl on the front reception seemed a little timid to talk or greet us. if the drinks machine was down then would of been good to explain that before ordering and paying. the cob was so small I'm still hungry. not a good experience
To the shame of me I hardly ever leave reviews, however I had to leave one for this amazing small business after visiting a few times over the last few weeks. The shop is always clean (first impressions speak volumes!) staff are polite and efficient, the food is of excellent quality, always well prepared and packaged. The specials are particularly tasty! And change frequently so there’s always something new on offer as-well as the old favourites! If you haven’t already visited please nip in and support this fabulous team! You won’t regret it!
