“Great local convenience store, always friendly, helpful and with a smile. Asked for help today and even though Lauren was very busy with stock, she was kind enough to show me exactly where what I needed was located. It's always a pleasant experience when you meet people who enjoy and care about the job they do.”

“To the guy who delivered my order tonight, I love you so much man. I had a meltdown as I didnt have any food I like in my house, as well as other restaurants not being able to deliver to my adress, and just by you delivering it with a smile, and wishing me a good night, that has brought me so much happiness. It’s alright if you got confused with the location at first, that service with a smile was amazing! The chicken strips were perfect, as well as the potato wedges: I luckily had room for the cookies! To sum up my experience: Have a good life, the amazing man whoever delivered my meal: You fed a hungry distraught child and brought them joy. Highly recommend eating here. “We stayed at the Ibis hotel and we ordered and collected the pizza from Domino's. While waiting for the pizza, I was impressed by the staff that worked on the Friday evening ( 1st December), as I rarely have seen such hard working people, they didn't seem to stop. They were taking orders, preparing the pizza, answering the calls, and working side by side. They were very friendly too. The pizza was tasty so I am giving it 5 stars for the hard work of the employees.”

“Thank you for stepping in at the last minute to provide food at our 1st Christmas fair yesterday at Meersbrook. I could not have wished for anything better, with only 24 hours notice, they provided us with such amazing food, And this is a first they actually communicated with me, arrived on time, and basically just got on with what they do. I will be definitely using them again and if you have an outside event and like Greek food , book them, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks guys you were ace.”

“Ate inside here, some seating seems to be a little on the right side as you walk in on your left near the counter, was pretty busy but then it is just off the motorway. I would have given a 5* for the food but unfortunately ordering from the order machine on entry, you was unable to select beans as a side as it wasn't even on the list but everything else was, if you wanted beans, you had to order from the counter. I not sure if this is a regular thing or was just a one off on my visit. Service was pretty good, wasn't waiting too long and the staff was friendly. Plenty of parking available and of course it has a drive thru.”

“I live about a mile from Roots,and drive and walk by regularly. But I never noticed it. Now, I call in quite regular for a cappuccino which is to die for. It is so creamy and tasty. It beats C@%&A and the like any day. I have never tried the food, but what I have seen looks very tasty. The staff are very polite and friendly. The premises is quite large, and there is a decent size room for private functions. The single use toilet is always very clean. There is parking to the front. All in all a great place for a meet up with friends for a catch up and a coffee and a snack. Opening times. Sunday closed. Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. Saturday 9am to 2pm Closed Bank Holidays. Except school holidays. 9am to 2pm.”

“We had a visit to The Boston Arms as we have family in Woodseats. What a brilliant little place! Great beer selection (craft is where it's at!), cosy atmosphere (brilliant for us who are NeuroSpicy) and dog friendly! “A lovely little shop. They have three pumps of well kept beer (perhaps some keg too, I didn't notice) all of which are great. Then a good selection of cans and bottles which you can drink in or take away. Very nice strongly recommended.”
