This is simply the best hotel I have ever stayed in, in the UK! The rooms are astonishingly gorgeous, with a distinct touch of class and elegance. Spacious bathroom and great tea, coffee and hot chocolate plus courtesy biscuits placed in the room for guests too. The bed was huge (approx. 6.5 feet) and some had rooms were themed like 'The Princess and the Pea'. Staff at Reception, Restaurant and Bar were superb, polite, and obliging. I only wish that the next time I am there, it will not be for work, so that I can explore the grounds and even see what the Spa is like!

A lovely stagf member eelcomef us in st recrption. Chevk in was easy. Beautiful rooms, which were very large and spotlessly clean. Nice furnishings bed was slightly firm but good. Corridors smart and very clean. Lovely shower room with walk in shower. A bit slippy, but I should've asked for a slip mat. The bar area was beautifully furnished, and the bar snacks were delicious. We were attending a 70th birthday celebration in the hotel's Orangery. It was a perfect size room for the group. Our tables were set out really nicely. Lovely quality tablecloths and napkins.

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our minimoon and I'm still thinking about this hotel 2 months later. Such a fab stay and somewhere I will revisit in future. We had one of the spa suites and wow!! What a room! Huge, comfy bed, double bath, heated shower seating, sauna, it was everything you could want for a short break. I'd also booked a massage for myself. Not come across any other hotels offering this sort of room and it's a decent price for the size of room you get and all the amenities just for your exclusive use. The only downside we felt was that there was no entertainment. I know the hotel have events on every so often and they were prioritising weddings over the summer, but other than the bar there was nothing there. Wasn't anywhere to really walk to either. So I'd recommend checking when they have tribute acts on and choose your stay around this. We'd ordered prosecco and chocolates for the room. Prosecco was there, in a nice ice bucket, but the chocolates weren't. When I raised this it was immediately rectified by staff. All staff we came across were lovely.

We stayed in one of the signature spa suites: Laconium. The bedroom element was huge with a very large and very comfortable bed. Would have liked a coffee machine in the room but this didn't detract from our enjoyment of it. The spa bathroom is the reason we booked this room and it was amazing. So lovely, and very unusual, to have private spa facilities like this. Would definitely return and try a different suite next time. Highly recommend it.

First time staying here but plenty more stays to come. I was here on a business trip, driving all the way from Liverpool, didn’t arrive until late as traffic was horrendous. Check in staff made me feel very welcome. Ordered room service as the drive finished me off, food arrived quickly and was lovely, everything cooked to perfection, service was great too! Booked an executive room, it was huge, sofa, table, dressing table, and big bed. Bathroom/wet room was big too with a bath and walk in shower. All in all I pulsing fault anything about this hotel, already looking forward to staying again.

Room was fine though very noisy as situated above a bar who's occupants didn't leave until 4am so was impossible to sleep. Feel a hotel this large really should have a gym or some extra facilities for guests. Staff were generally helpful. Bar prices were expensive for an out of town hotel. Breakfast was good. Plenty of parking.

My wife and I wanted to stay somewhere in the middle of nowhere with some nice luxury. Our room had, believe it or not, a jacuzzi large enough for two, a sauna with more than enough room for two, as well as a large shower stall. The room had a magnificent antique four poster bed with a matching table. The room was very large. Everything was in pristine condition. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed every minute we were there. It's one place we are definitely going back to.
