   Food was average. Really dry burger that tasted like it was frozen. The rooms are clean enough. The mattresses are the old spring kind so I felt every move my wife made. The bar delivery guy arrived at 6.30am to crash legs around. It was just ok, not great.

   Horrible place, not advised to go. No welcome staff, the worst service ever, staff unable to communicate. The worst thing I asked for a gin tonic and it was washed with Sprite, not tonic, and when I asked for a tonic, they even double charged me. I won't suggest this place to my worst enemy.

   I am writing a review for the restaurant only. I have not stayed in the accommodation, so my review will reflect this. Myself and my family had our second visit to the restaurant today and we were not disappointed. We went for my daughter’s birthday meal, as she loved the food there. It is fantastic for people who require a gluten free diet too. I have coeliac disease and I am also pescatarian, so options can be limited for me. Littleover Lodge restaurant has a wide variety of meals for me to try, ranging from pizzas, fish and chips, curry, salmon and burgers (which even came with gf onion rings, a very rare treat). There is also a lovely brownie for dessert. We will definitely be making this a regular place to eat and hope to enjoy cocktails one evening too, as the bar looks lovely with different performances etc available too. I would definitely recommend and it’s very affordable too for good quality food, with friendly staff.

   I'd recommend Littleover Lodge to anyone! Dog friendly, clean rooms, SUPERB food, wonderful staff, and extremely reasonable rates. Thank you to all who made our stay 25th-27th September so pleasant.

   My wife and I had a fantastic Stay. The bathrooms had been newly refurbished and everything was clean We enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant, which had good efficient service And the food was very tasty We will definitely be returning Thank you

   Fully enjoyed the Sunday lunch carvery option. Plenty of choice with fresh veg and 3 roasts to choose from. Reasknable prices. Would recommend to anyone.

   Meal for 14 people as a Christmas celebration Bar staff rude despite not being that busy they didn’t rush to serve it felt like we were an inconvenience being there. Meal average I had Beef Bourginon beef fatty and tough needed slow cooking properly Veg undercooked no extra veg offered we had to ask for gravy for the traditional Turkey dinner. Dessert - Panna Cotta with gingerbread man on the side was inedible burnt and so hard I didn’t want a trip to the dentist! Pretty average - not as fancy as it’s portrayed. It also was freezing in there so not pleasant. Quite a few disgruntled people in our party Won’t be returning

   We came to the restaurant with our friends for carvery. The guy who was serving the food was very rude. He didn’t ask me which meat I wanted, he gave me a Turkey… so I asked him to change it for gammon. There was only a little stuffing left in the container and a random table spoon inside it. I asked the guy if we can have a fresh. He only answered that there is still some left… The way he spoke to me was unprofessional and upsetting, especially I was with my friends and they heard that as well. I didn’t enjoy the evening because of the guy who clearly didn’t want to be at work. I will go there again and if this repeats, I’m going to make a complaint.
