βHelpful and friendly. Dogs seemed happy.β
βHighly recommend Tumblepups! Holly has been attending for 4 years since she was a puppy and Fen our new puppy also goes! They are always excited to go, are well cared for and come home shattered!β
βLovely room. VERY clean and well presented. Lovely peaceful place and lovely service. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend!β
βOver 2 years ago, we got married at this location. The day was perfect. The staff were helpful throughout the planning process and the day itself went without issue. 2 years later, we came back, now with our son, for our 2 year Anniversary. Again, the staff were extremely professional, the food was worth more than what they charged, and, to help us celebrate, some items were made free for us. I cannot say just how amazing every aspect of the Woodland Manor Hotel is and the staff are amazingβ
βWe held our daughters surprise babyshower here and can honestly say the service was impeccable. Nothing was too much trouble and any requests were met with a smile and quick action. Thank you all so for making the day so special we shall definitely return.β
βMy lad was there for 8 nights and he was very happy. Great place, kennels were warm and he had a comfortable bed. I can recommend the staff as excellent. Many thanks Kevβ
βLovely setting and great service. Food was fabulous and even for myself being a celiac non gluten eater they were very helpful, helping me choose items of the menu and checking on things with the chef. Bought bread rolls out for our other party members quickly followed by a non gluten bread roll for myself. Portion. Size of food is big and delicious. Not cheap but worth it.β
βOn a corporate level we work with The Kingfisher regularly in terms of booking meetings, corporate events and bedrooms. I can not rate Chris and the events/reservations team highly enough. They provide exceptional levels of service, never let us down and always go out of their way to exceed our expectations and ensure we return. Liaising with them is always seamless and effortless - nothing is too much trouble for them. If you're looking for an event location in Bedford please do consider The Kingfisher - their location on the river is especially lovely in the summer. Chef is great too - the food has always been very good - even when catering for large numbers. Just the bedrooms that are starting to look a little tired and in need of a bit of investment - but are more than perfectly acceptable and are always immaculately clean with high quality bedding and linen. However, this does not stop me recommending The Kingfisher enough!β
βwe had a wonderful stay at the swan hotel. The room was spacious and had everything I needed, with dΓ©cor that was modern and really beautifully done. The thermal spa session was incredibly relaxing and definitely a highlight of our visit. The restaurant offered a great choice of food, and everything was excellent value for money. Overall, a fantastic experience, we will definitely be coming back.β
βHad a fantastic weekend at The Bell for our annual family meet up. The staff were fantastic and worked so hard to ensure our party of 12 were looked after in the bar, at dinner and breakfast. A great place to stay and eat in the a lovely Bedfordshire village.β
βHad an overnight stay in Woburn last weekend. Longs provided a friendly and cosy place to stay for the night at incredible value. Highly recommended. The only small negative was that I was looking forward to a cooked breakfast that was advertised when I booked however when leaving the building at about 09.00am on a Sunday there were no staff on duty and definitely no smells of food being cooked. I guess I just picked a bad day but never mind.β
βI have stayed here on numerous occasions for work purposes. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds here are one of the most comfortable I've experienced. Air con - warm/cool is perfect. The only amenities I miss is a small fridge and iron. Shower rooms are adequate, although I do detest a fixed shower head! The staff are all very pleasant. Elizabeta and Meera in the restaurant are very professional and polite. Breakfast offers sufficient choice for me and is enjoyable.β
βBooked a 2 night stay visiting family, upon arrival the manager couldnβt do much more for us. Extra towels no bother, offered us a cup of tea. We were on the 7th floor and had a side river view. The room was spotless, not even a stray hair in the bathroom. We didnβt ask for it to be cleaned whilst we were there as it wasnβt required. Upon check out validating for the car park is really easy to do, on the machine provided. Not sure if this is premier innβs model, but removing all front of house staff is a big mistake when you have wonderful staff working for you.β
βThis hotel ticks all the boxes. It's clean, modern and comfortable. Nice hot breakfast. Good location. The staff however make it great. Lovely service from Olga and Oliver throughout our 1 night stay. Thank youβ
βMe and my son booked a room last minute, as soon as we arrived we were amazed at the aesthetic of the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! The hotel was immaculate and very clean throughout. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our room was perfect, the bed was made all towels were provided and tea and coffee was there. The bathroom was great had soap and shower gels shampoo etc no signs of mould or dirt.. Extremely clean and very well presented. Staff were very very friendly and helpful. Thank you for such a warm welcome 10/10β
βMany positives, especially Russell on reception who went out of his way numerous times to help us. Also to Michael the night porter who was very helpful. The disabled lift was not working and this should have been looked into quickly but wasn't. Although, I was able to access the bar and restaurant via the staff kitchen entrance luckily thanks to Russell and Co. Had to ask staff 3 times for a remote for the air-con. Russell was the one who resolved this, thankfully. I assume the other 2 staff forget. Hotel needs more disabled car spaces, 2 is not enough. Hotel located in a very nice quiet area of country. Breakfast was superb and all staff very helpful and friendly, although forgot one or two things. I'd stay again, which is a good sign!β
βHaven't been to center parcs as a couple before but the hotel made it a lovely romantic break. We stayed in a room with a kitchen which is a full kitchen. This was great as we could have a nice leisurely breakfast. It was great that the hotel is next to everything, we didnt have a long walk back to the room in the evening. Next big family holiday, I'll happily stay in the hotel to get some quiet.β
βFriendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.β
βAmazing place to stay!!! Gary and the people there are very nice and helpful. Everything is clean and nice in the room. Nice nature views, very relaxing, the food path surrounding is so beautiful! If lucky you could see some rabbits running in the field.β
βI had a great stay at the Northampton Bedford Road Premier Inn on the A428. The receptionist team was incredibly welcoming and made check-in smooth and friendly. A special mention to Fridah, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. Overall, excellent service from start to finish. Thank you! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.β
βGreat place to stay. Greeted by a wonderful person full of joy and polite. Good price and check out was 12 not 10. Local to Toby and a pub.β
βClean and quiet at night. Reception staff welcoming and easy check-in.β
βI always stay at this particular Travelodge whenever I visit Bedford with my boys and we're always assured a comfortable and peaceful stay. It's very quiet being far enough from Bedford but also being near enough to be a great base to visit family from. Always 100% service and cleanliness etc.β

βExcellent kennel; no problems, even after our dog stayed for a substantial amount of time.β
βWe had decided to go on holiday a bit last minute and because the dates changed, our usual kennels didn't have availability. We have two large dogs, both rescues and one of them is a bit reactive until he gets to know you and also doesn't like other dogs. I'd sent some web requests for availability (explaining about my dog's behaviour and that we were his 3rd and final home) because it was late at night so I couldn't ring. The next day I had a response from Rebecca at Sunrise Kennels saying they had availability but also inviting us to view the kennels beforehand. We did so and were greeted by Honor, who introduced herself and told us about the kennels and gave us a tour including the lovely big field where they dogs are walked. There are heated beds and the dogs could share a kennel which was great. She also said feeding them separately wouldn't be a problem as one is a grazer so the other would have his food too! On the day, our reactive dog went off with the kennel staff and didn't even look back! I managed a week before I emailed asking how they were doing and Rebecca said my reactive dog had come out of his shell and had become very playful and both were enjoying cuddles. When we picked them up, they kept running back to Jess for pets and she also let us know that they'd been fed and walked that day. For us, it was important to find a kennel that cared and would take the time to get to know our reactive dog. Even though it was a 3 hour round trip for us, it was well worth finding a kennel that we felt happy with so I'd definitely recommend Sunrise Boarding Kennels to anyone looking for a kennel. They also have a cattery.β
