   Lovely stay at Center Parcs. The hotel room itself is really spacious and good value for money but it doesn't have any cooking facilities so you could end up spending a lot more on eating out due to this. Good location, easy to walk to nearby plaza and village center. Our room was only tidied by staff once, they replaced towels and made the bed but didn't change our mugs which was a bit of a let down. Overall, really good though and we would come again.

   Haven't been to center parcs as a couple before but the hotel made it a lovely romantic break. We stayed in a room with a kitchen which is a full kitchen. This was great as we could have a nice leisurely breakfast. It was great that the hotel is next to everything, we didnt have a long walk back to the room in the evening. Next big family holiday, I'll happily stay in the hotel to get some quiet.

   Many pros and cons of this place. Second time staying in this hotel, just two of us. It's perfect for two. Located in the plaza you are nice and central. Cleaning staff were great, our room was impeccable each day. Disappointed at lack of kitchenette as you get at longleat hotel. We had takeaway and ate noodles with teaspoons because there was no cutlery (in fairness the Dining takeaway reassured us we would be given cutlery with our food but they didn't). The space in our room was compact and had everything you need. Sadly like the rest of the venue you cannot leave the balcony door open for too long without a wasp or three disturbing you. The hotel staff were all brilliant, friendly and so helpful. All in all a great stay, but not the best of the center Parcs locations.

   Having visited Center Parcs during the summer as a family, we decided to return and treat ourselves to a spa suite package at the Aqua Sana/Lakeside Hotel for New Year. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a dedicated spa suite concierge with a welcome glass of prosecco whilst she took us through the check-in process. There are eight identical suites, all overlooking the outdoor spa pool and lake. The suite was spacious and very much open plan, with the Christmas tree adding a lovely festive feel that complemented the simulated log fires beautifully. We found chocolate-covered strawberries and apricots in the fridge and a selection of snacks on the table, which was a nice touch. The spacious bathroom came equipped with a walk-in shower that incorporated a combination of overhead rainfall and body jets, although the pressure wasn't quite up to providing the invigorating massaging effect if used at the same time. The plain round 'hydrobath' in the balcony extension would have topped off the room nicely if it had been a bubble jet spa, but being able to sip champagne whilst soaking in the view across the forest was pretty special. Staying in the suites gave us direct access to the extensive spa facilities, which we could use from 9am on the day of arrival until 9pm on the day of departure. This gave us plenty of time for relaxing even for a one-night stay. The spa suite package included vouchers to spend at any of the on-site restaurants, of which there were numerous recognisable options at either the hotel/leisure centre or around the tropical paradise complex. All of the options are family friendly, so even if you manage to leave your own kids at home, don't expect a quiet romantic evening away from other people's kids! Center Parcs is clearly completely family-oriented, but despite being located in the heart of the holiday village, our spa suite break was surprisingly peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely visit again.
