“I have been coming to Bowwow for over a year and their services are amazing. My dog Lola used to get anxiety when she would get groomed but ever since she goes to Bowwow she is always calm and happy. The staff are lovely and Lola always comes back tidy and cute. I highly recommend. The 3 for £10 doggy spa treatments are great and Lola loves the paw sanni and blueberry facial treatment :)”

“These have been our vets since we first got our Chocolate Labrador Willow in 2014 as a puppy and throughout our time using them, they have been amazing. Not only did we use them for our usual check ups and vaccination boosters, but we used them for Willows operations including spaying and recently for lumpectomies, and they have been great! Recently we used them for support with exporting Willow to our new home in Dubai and they have been so so supportive with all the documentation requirements, often having to do things multiple times due to unclear instructions from the export agent, but every time they have been friendly, professional and proactive in their timings on providing updated documents. I would highly highly recommend Companion Care Vets Bedford to anyone!!”

“Went for a flea bath for my cat a few months ago, good decent price and kept me updated with pics and videos. Gave me a lot of advice too. My cat Clive is a very timid cat (rescue) and can get aggressive due to this but they managed to keep him calm and not stress him out at all. Very well priced and easy to get to. Just came back from a nail trim, vet charges 3 times this place does even when they could not trim most of the nails! Will definitely be getting his manicure done here in the future as they were very gentle and no need for restraining and 3 times cheaper!!! Thank you”

“Sent my beautiful Maincoon to this company she was so matted I did not hold out much hope of not having to be shaved. They did an amazing job she was picked up promptly and as my/her first was a bit worried communication was excellent and they manged to not have to shave, even cleaned ears and clipped nails :) very happy woth service 5 star 100% recommend will be coming back sara very happy customer”

“It's hard to find a good reliable groomer, Cerys has been to Lydia who's now part of the Vanity Fur team on a number of occasions. I've never had any complaints. They are always reliable, professional, friendly and do a great job.....BUT....most importantly to me Cerys always comes out completely calm and happy as if she's been to see a friend. “Our dog is one of the family, there are few places we would leave him and know he was well looked after and treated as one of their own, this is one of those places. We only have to mention Andy and our dog is at the back door ready to go, he loves it there. Always comes back relaxed as he’s been spoilt and usually worn out as he’s been exercised well. Absolutely fully recommended.”

“We had such a a good customer service experience at this Pets at Home today, Emma was so helpful and gave lots of advice on how to cut my nervous guinea pig's nails. All the staff on the shop floor that we encountered seemed to genuinely love and care for the animals around them. Thank you very much.”

“On a corporate level we work with The Kingfisher regularly in terms of booking meetings, corporate events and bedrooms. I can not rate Chris and the events/reservations team highly enough. They provide exceptional levels of service, never let us down and always go out of their way to exceed our expectations and ensure we return. Liaising with them is always seamless and effortless - nothing is too much trouble for them. If you're looking for an event location in Bedford please do consider The Kingfisher - their location on the river is especially lovely in the summer. Chef is great too - the food has always been very good - even when catering for large numbers. Just the bedrooms that are starting to look a little tired and in need of a bit of investment - but are more than perfectly acceptable and are always immaculately clean with high quality bedding and linen. However, this does not stop me recommending The Kingfisher enough!”

“we had a wonderful stay at the swan hotel. The room was spacious and had everything I needed, with décor that was modern and really beautifully done. The thermal spa session was incredibly relaxing and definitely a highlight of our visit. The restaurant offered a great choice of food, and everything was excellent value for money. Overall, a fantastic experience, we will definitely be coming back.”

“Not actually pet related but our car was involved in an accident on the London Rd during the recent heavy winds. Our car had be towed away but during the wait we asked if it was OK for my wife to use the toilet facilities of Vets4Pets. The reception staff were so pleasant and helpful. We would like to thank them for their help during a very stressful morning.”

“I have stayed here on numerous occasions for work purposes. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds here are one of the most comfortable I've experienced. Air con - warm/cool is perfect. The only amenities I miss is a small fridge and iron. Shower rooms are adequate, although I do detest a fixed shower head! The staff are all very pleasant. Elizabeta and Meera in the restaurant are very professional and polite. Breakfast offers sufficient choice for me and is enjoyable.”

“Booked a 2 night stay visiting family, upon arrival the manager couldn’t do much more for us. Extra towels no bother, offered us a cup of tea. We were on the 7th floor and had a side river view. The room was spotless, not even a stray hair in the bathroom. We didn’t ask for it to be cleaned whilst we were there as it wasn’t required. Upon check out validating for the car park is really easy to do, on the machine provided. Not sure if this is premier inn’s model, but removing all front of house staff is a big mistake when you have wonderful staff working for you.”
