   I stayed at Mercure Bedford for a night, just before Christmas with my family. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The rooms were spacious with a fantastic river view. We met our friends there and decided to use their in-house restaurant. Food was finger-leakingly good, cocktails were made with great care and boozy enough. All in all highly recommended.

   I attended a Christmas party here last Friday, and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the service was excellent throughout the evening. The staff were attentive, professional, and made everyone feel very welcome. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the people were incredibly friendly, which really added to the overall enjoyment of the event. Everything was well organised, and it made for a memorable night. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again and would highly recommend this venue for events or celebrations.

   I have stayed here on numerous occasions for work purposes. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds here are one of the most comfortable I've experienced. Air con - warm/cool is perfect. The only amenities I miss is a small fridge and iron. Shower rooms are adequate, although I do detest a fixed shower head! The staff are all very pleasant. Elizabeta and Meera in the restaurant are very professional and polite. Breakfast offers sufficient choice for me and is enjoyable.

   Firstly I will say that the room was great and comfy beds. But at 7am on Sunday morning the whole hotel was woken by a fire alarm and had to get dressed and go downstairs. Due to this hotel being several floors high, I had to walk 4 floors down via the steps. Now this is fine if there is a fire but there wasn’t. They didn’t provide any reason why it went off and ruined my overall stay as couldn’t get back to sleep. Would have been nice to have been compensated for this

   Have stayed a few times on work business. Staff very friendly and always happy to help. good sizes car park so easy to park during stay. Would be nice if there was a bigger choice on the menu .

   I enjoyed my stay. Staff were very helpful, the room was clean and I ate in the restaurant and the food was good quality. The restaurant was cold (temperature wise) and I asked staff if the heating could be adjusted. I ate my meal wrapped in my scarf. Also my room was cold but I was able to eventually work out how to adjust the air con unit. I called the hotel number in the welcome sheet but no one answered. Other than the cold it was a lovely stay.

   It has fulfilled its function as an overnight stay. The room was spartan. Table, armchair, bed, clothes rail and a TV. The toilet brush was missing in the bathroom and a dirty floor mat adorned the shower. The door lock of the room, which could be opened with a card, was a matter of luck. It took patience for the door to open. The card had to be reprogrammed three times because it had stopped working. The staff wasn't very attentive. There were no ashtrays available for smokers, who went to their needs in front of the hotel entrance. Since I primarily only came to the hotel to sleep, I generously overlooked all of this.

   The. Hotel was very clean and has the best views of the beautiful river. The breakfast was great and the staff were exemplary. Only disappointment was see the old windows in the rooms with secondary glazing on the inside but hey this is now a 50yr old building and they are doing their best. At least they have removed the stretched rubber ceilings.

   Excellent stay…. Such Clean and modern rooms, delicious food, but moreover fantastic staff!!! They all were polite and couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was as we expected and was fresh. We all had the best sleep because the rooms were comfy, clean and well maintained! Great location of the hotel too, riverside! Thank you and can’t wait to visit again!
