“A wonderful caring and professional service, the directors both have a kind and gentle manner in which they have handled all 3 of our dogs. The helpful advise and explanations of all procedures and what is going on with our dogs has been outstanding. Would highly recommend them all from the helpful reception staff to the nurses, thank you.”
“The most friendliest and professional veterinary centre we have ever had our dog registered with. Have seen all 3 vets and they are all lovely. They treat my dog with the utmost care and attention and have time for you and your pet, you never feel rushed. They never come across as just trying to make money out of you, your pets welfare is at the heart of what they do. It's so lovely to still have local independent vets and the difference here to other clinics stands out. Highly recommend!”
“Henlow Veterinary Hospital is undoubtably fantastic. Every single member of staff is professional, incredibly friendly, and leaves you feeling nothing but comfortable and reassured leaving your beloved member of family in their care. Over the past 9 months I’ve frequented Henlow Vets multiple times (routine visits for flea and worming and a neutering) and it’s always smelt and looked so lovely which, personally, adds to the confidence I have in them. I 100% recommend Henlow Veterinary Hospital. Their service is unparalleled and I feel very blessed that Bear is registered with them.”
“A thank you for vet Joanna with her care and kindness with my beautiful Wolfie, even though we had to send him over the rainbow bridge which she did with kindness and gentleness.”
“I just wanted to acknowledge the amazing experience we had with Acorn House recently when our little dog Bailey had to have eye surgery and a dental scale and polish. The day of the surgery was positive and well managed and we had our boy home quickly. Unfortunately he was anxious and unsettled afterwards and managed to get his stitch out. All staff were amazing, patient and very helpful and supportive. I would highly recommend.”
“These have been our vets since we first got our Chocolate Labrador Willow in 2014 as a puppy and throughout our time using them, they have been amazing. Not only did we use them for our usual check ups and vaccination boosters, but we used them for Willows operations including spaying and recently for lumpectomies, and they have been great! Recently we used them for support with exporting Willow to our new home in Dubai and they have been so so supportive with all the documentation requirements, often having to do things multiple times due to unclear instructions from the export agent, but every time they have been friendly, professional and proactive in their timings on providing updated documents. I would highly highly recommend Companion Care Vets Bedford to anyone!!”
“A wonderful and caring service helping us with our slightly challenging dog. Our vet Lorna was simply brilliant!”
“I always receive good, polite and prompt service from this vet. Not the cheapest but have never been dissatisfied.”
“Not actually pet related but our car was involved in an accident on the London Rd during the recent heavy winds. Our car had be towed away but during the wait we asked if it was OK for my wife to use the toilet facilities of Vets4Pets. The reception staff were so pleasant and helpful. We would like to thank them for their help during a very stressful morning.”
“First visit having not been registered with Medivet previously my sick collie was seen within 45 minutes of initial call. The vet did a thorough review of my Collie and prescribed medication and within 24 hrs she has improved. I’m very impressed.”
“I had a wonderful experience at this veterinary clinic. All the doctors and nurses are incredibly friendly and caring. A special thanks to Dr. Kate & Dr. Jacky. They are full of love and patience, and always takes the time to answer all my questions thoroughly. I truly appreciate the care and attention given to my pet. Highly recommended!”

“Best vetinary practice I've ever been so. Have been coming here for over a year with three cats and always happy with the care. Staff are all great and pricing is fair.”
“Super quick and reliable service. Easy to book appointment and great advice and help provided by Baljit the Pharmacist. Will most certainly be using Smarta Healthcare in Bedford again going forward.”
“The vet was absolutely excellent and all in the practice clearly have the animal’s welfare as a priority. Highly recommend the practice.”
“My two kittens went into be spayed. The reception staff overheard me comforting my 3 year old son saying we would be back to collect them (he was scared they wouldn’t come home because last time we was at this branch we left without our darling Marvin as he didn’t make his car accident) The reception staff were amazing. They asked my son for his name and what our kittens names are. Promised to take pictures of them when awake and eating and send over to me. They even put FOA: of my son’s name in the subject of the email. This will be something I’m forever grateful for. The overall experience with my cats being spayed and process was amazing. I honestly would recommend Boness everyday of the week to pet carers!”

“I was very upset coming to the out of hours vet. I was really worried for my rabbit. I was kindly offered a warm drink and tissues. After sitting in The waiting room one of the vet nurses took the carry case with my rabbit inside without telling me what they were doing with her. This made me more anxious and I had to go to ask reception where she is and why I’ve not been allowed to go with her. Reception then informed me that they give animals time to calm down in a calm room before being seen by the vet. In future if they could warn owners where they are taking their pets prior to consultation it would be great. Then when we had the consultation with the vet he was amazing. He checked her throughly and was very understanding & knowledgable. It is expensive but I understand for the out of hours practise I can’t expect any less. I was satisfied with the care she received. Blossom was given meds for her illness however she sadly passed away a few days after at our local vet. I’m grateful for the extra few days I received from the vet. RIP Blossom. You were so loved and adored”
“Great place, inexpensive food but good quality, especially Sunday lunch. Helpful and friendly staff.”
