The three members of staff we encountered from our arrival to our departure were excellent. At check-in the lady was very helpful and made our process easy and simple. The gentleman who was working in the evening, Richard was very friendly and helpful. The chef at breakfast was friendly and put at ease ensuring we had everything we wanted. The room was spacious and dry clean. Thank you for making our short stay a pleasant experience.

Booked a 2 night stay visiting family, upon arrival the manager couldn’t do much more for us. Extra towels no bother, offered us a cup of tea. We were on the 7th floor and had a side river view. The room was spotless, not even a stray hair in the bathroom. We didn’t ask for it to be cleaned whilst we were there as it wasn’t required. Upon check out validating for the car park is really easy to do, on the machine provided. Not sure if this is premier inn’s model, but removing all front of house staff is a big mistake when you have wonderful staff working for you.

According to the hotel’s policy, guests can request room cleaning by contacting reception before noon. I did this on two consecutive days, but my room was not cleaned either time when I came back in the evening. On Wednesday evening, the young red-haired receptionist I spoke to was lovely and apologetic, even though it wasn’t her fault. However, on Thursday evening, the middle-aged receptionist was dismissive and said she had no proof that I’d requested cleaning, so there is nothing she could do. Not even a "sorry", which is the bare minimum for a 3 star hotel. Disappointing

Typical Premier Inn- clean, spacious room, comfortable bed, etc. Easy to use, and very efficient, air conditioning system. Lovely location by the riverside and a short walk to the centre of town. At the time of visiting, computer systems were being updated, resulting in slower check in procedure. Optional dinner and breakfast. The only drawback is the lack of parking. Fortunately, there is a multi-storey car park close by which the hotel gives a discount for. This is OK if the weather is nice: less so if it is raining or very cold. Irritating that the satnav told you to turn right instead of straight ahead. Fortunately, the car par is well signposted.

Great location - super convenient and has a fairly large EV car park right next to it. However the hotel itself is average at best. The room wasn’t the cleanest (nor is the rest of the hotel as it happens). On Check in, all the self service desk are out of order, staff in scruffy uniforms. It just looks sad and faded. The service at breakfast was non existent and the member of staff on duty simply in a white t-shirt and legging was utterly miserable and rude. I was there for three nights and asked for my room to be serviced, as per the instruction, and despite being told it would be. It wasn’t. Simply not good enough service all round.

This hotel is in a great location for the town and i recommend it. The car park is just across the road which you get a slight discount for through the hotel, the hotel has a machine which you tap your chip on to get discount. The staff were polite and friendly and very helpful. We had dinner one night and that was fine. The breakfast was brilliant with plenty of choice so that's worth having. The lift was a bit pongy and smelt like a sewer but there are stairs so you don't have to go in the lift. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed overnight. Elizabeth was on the night shift and was an excellent host. Rooms were clean and comfortable. All for £60 including breakfast. The prices at the bar were really good compared to other hotels. Really good value. The only negative side was the coffee, it was horrible!!

Traveled 85 miles to visit my two young sons age 7&8 in Bedford to give them their Xmas presents early. Wanted to give the presents in a nice private environment so thought I’d try this Premier Inn. Even though they weren’t open yet. I explained the situation to the manager. He was extremely helpful and allowed us in and even made us pizzas and drinks. All of his staff we encountered were excellent, very polite, and helpful. I can’t praise them enough. If I ever choose to stay over in Bedford I will definitely go here. Oh and the place was also impeccably clean and tidy.

I was asked if I’m a resident, as people break in by following others. Instead of being shown a warm welcome, or being asked if I wished to order a drink, or needed anything. Then another staff member came out and asked me ‘are you ok pal’. Very poor customer services. No one else was asked if they were intruders.

Genuinely a really good stay, room was very clean and comfortable. The view was decent which was a bonus & staff were lovely. Parking was a short 5 min walk away in a multistorey, but was very easy to park and weekend parking has 2 hours free and sundays free. Cost us 3.20 for the weekend, would recommend.
